Absolutely horrible. Never again.

Good location

Misleading booking that advertised “private bathroom” when they meant private shower but shared toilet. Everything was dirty and falling apart, from the plugs to the ceiling. I didn’t see a single person from the staff and I felt very unsafe because of creepy interaction with a man that I could do nothing about. The room was also very hot because by “air conditioning” they meant a dirty old fan

OK for the price

The location was pretty good for the event I was going to at The Domain. The shower was hot with good pressure. It is OK for a cheap place to stay. There is no parking on site but there is a Wilsons car park a few doors down and also around the corner and another across the road. They had suggested parking in a side street but the parking there isn't over night.

The listing was unclear about there being shared toilets and kitchen facilities (that has since been updated in the listing after I contacted them to clarify). I was not sent the check-in details and I had to call at the front door to get the door and room key box codes as the place was unstaffed. Walls are thin so there was lots of noise from other guests talking. They supplied one hair dryer for the place but there is no plug in the bathroom and no mirror in the bedroom so I was unable to use it.

Very unsafe, domestic abuse occurring in shared spaces, walls are very thin so you can hear the argument. Very scary, definitely did not feel safe- DO NOT BOOK IF YOU ARE A SOLO WOMAN, bed covers weren’t washed there were brown and red marks..

Absolutely disappointing

Central location was the only good thing about this accommodation.

The accommodation was extremely damp and had a strong unpleasant smell. The duvet was stained and felt wet, and by the next morning all of our clothes had absorbed moisture from the air. We even opened a packet of food, and within a few hours it had gone soft due to the humidity in the room. Because of this, we had to remove the duvet and pillows and sleep directly on the bed, but the room still felt very uncomfortable due to the excessive moisture. There is a shower inside the room with no shower dome and no proper ventilation, which likely explains the severe dampness. This also raised concerns about whether the room meets basic safety and accommodation standards. We had booked for four nights but had to leave on the second day and spend additional money finding a dry and suitable place to stay in Auckland for the remainder of our trip. The room was also very noisy, and we could clearly hear people in the neighbouring rooms. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The condition of the room was unacceptable, and it was a complete waste of money since we could only stay one night despite paying for four. We would not return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good location.

Rooms don't have windows, and there was no table light, so I had to use my phone flashlight to get around when the main lights were turned off. There was also a weird smell in my room, not pleasant. Walls are pretty thin so can clearly hear my neighbours. Fortunately it was a quiet night. Wouldn't stay there longer than one night.

Perfect if you're just looking for somewhere cheap to sleep - manage expectations!

The location and the price for this were what attracted us and it was perfect for what we needed - a cheap place to sleep in the city centre. Staff were helpful and responsive to emails.

It is definitely a budget stay - no windows, cheap furniture etc. I had lost something and looked under the bed and there was a crisp packet and a load of dust so cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

Location to Spark Arena and Waitemata

On arrival it was hard to open the door, 1of the toilets had no toilet paper and none in the cupboard. My room was between both toilets. The towels looked like they where from a hair dresser with bleach spots. No soap in the shower. The pillow had been slept on wet and smelt of shampoo. This looked like an office block being rented out. Glad I was only in it for a short time.

I quickly had to check out and book another stay, on the spot at 10pm at night, I was then not granted any sort of refund or apology and got told “it was clean” I’m not happy, I’m begging anyone to spend the extra $60 and get a better safer and less disgusting stay

The hotel is situated in the city and is very clean.

The WiFI network of this hotel is not conducive for people who work online. The Wifi setting is for not making calls and video calls . When I asked them to help, it only worked for ten minutes. It is a beautiful place but with this WiFi, it makes it very diificult to work.

Well, the advertisement is not what the actual place present, the people who was booked in other rooms smoked, when you enter the building the smell hangs there. the front door was left open for anyone to enter, It's sad that the pictures really had my attention. it looked stunning. but what we stepped into was pretty sad. No window in the room, shared bathroom. The walls are so thin you can hear absolutely everything — I’ll spare you the details. People talking loudly, slamming doors constantly until 2 or 3 a.m., making it nearly impossible to sleep. Then the noise starts again around 6 a.m., so no proper rest at all. The room was dirty, the shower full of mold, and the kitchen had only a microwave that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The only good point would be the location — but otherwise, avoid at all costs.

There was cum stained sheets and hairs all over the bedding and other delightful marks on the mattress I had to strip the bed, including not using the pillows. the pillows are yellow . Room with no window and the bathroom which was shared had years of soap build up it is obviously not being cleaned often. Also lastly to get into the building the staff says follow instructions sent on booking.com however there aren’t any instructions on there including the door code info . It was confusing. It also smells like rat piss but that could be the ceiling tiles .

Awful. I genuinely don't know why or how this place is running. Very disappointed.

No staff at all, you go in and unlock some boxes to get to get in, a shared toilet and shower between 5 rooms. I'm not sure when the last time this place was cleaned. There were spots on the bedsheets and pillow cases that we could scratch off (proof it's not clean obviously) and there is black mold sitting in the rooms and bathrooms.

The walls were not even sealed to the ceiling, you can see the light theu the gaps from the hallway. You could also hear the shower and toilets theu the whole building so makes it hard to sleep. Also no windows either at all so felt a little bit sketchy. Didn't like not having an emergency fire escape

You can NOT cook in the kitchen. Rooms with shower but not toilet. Rooms very dirty, floors, cabinets, corners, skirting boards, ceiling... Broken furniture. Toilets need a better scrub. No ventilation in the whole place. Sheets that do not fit. Blood on the mattres.
