Good for a one night stay.

The host David is very friendly, communicative and accommodating. The cleaning lady is lovely as well. The area nearby has some nice restaurants.

Well. I don't know how to put this. The place is not terrible, but a villa definitely it ain't. And it's nowhere near the sea. It's a decent house with a spacious living room and two bathrooms. Bathrooms are never very clean as every room is rented here so there could be 8 or 9 people staying in the house at the same time and using said bathrooms. The kitchen is tiny and not very clean. The hob is old and smells of fried oil all the time. The oven doesn't work. The whole house is absolutely boiling hot when it's sunny. It's like a sauna. Our room number 2 was unbearable. There are fans in the rooms and living room, but they don't do enough and it's very hard to sleep in that heat.

It was a nice home and had a very nice outdoors. The bedrooms weren't too small and the beds were comfortable.

It did seem a little dirty in the bathrooms especially (windowsills etc)

All in all a good place for your money

David was really nice, the instructions were clear and the house was nicely furnitured. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were clean.

There were some moldy spots around some windows and we had ants in our room.

NOT ...... A VILLA BY THE SEA

It was false advertising of this place, outside is nothing like the pictures and definitely not a "Villa by the sea" all you can see is wrecked lawn and diggers outside, rubbish bins and mess. Inside was fine, clean, David was nice. Misleading information.

The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating Rooms were a good size Good value for money

Location is quite far out from town, however there was a bus stop outside which took you to town in about 40 mins Beds were on the firmer side Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest

Reasonable tidy accomodation

The house is well mantained, dining area and bedroom are simple but comfortable. The host, David is very kind and always welcoming to help the guests. The location suites us, though we didn't use the public bus, the accomodation is close to the bus stops and the small shops for daily use are also in walking distance. We think it quite reasonable.

Nothimg special, if we have to say, a bit rough and untidy for the car parking. But it was not a big issue if not many.

Lovely owner and excellent stay

The owner of the property was extremely generous. He asked us to use the bread and milk in the fridge and even offered to upgrade to a bigger room free of charge.

The partition between the rooms are extremely thin. Can hear everything from the other room.

Good stay

We stayed at this state for a week. It was comfortable place for us. This is Sharing house and all the residents are nice people :) It’s close to a bus stop, so its convenient to get to other areas. Also there is car parking space. If you have a car it’s also good place ;) There are several rooms, our room has windows It was a very nice and comfortable room And the owner is very kind person. He responded quickly to any questions we had. He even provided free eggs for breakfast ;)

Just one thing, When we arrived in Auckland, it was a cold It was spring time, so it bearable, but there was no heater in the room. If you come there in winter, you will need to prepare for the cold.

Amazing Stay, Amazing owner.

The owner was super friendly. I arrived early, and he was cool about it. I worked late and slept peacefully through till lunchtime. When I got up, I was treated to a lovely unexpected breakfast. He let me check out late because I needed to sleep from early morning till lunchtime before driving home. And the cost is cheap for such a lovely place to.stay.

Perfect place for a short term vacation

The landlord is the nicest dude I’ve ever meet. He makes dinner for me and my friends he treats us like a friends, very down to earth person and the room was pretty clean and cozy.

I’ve seen someone walking around with his ballsack exposed, which kinda scares me.

Ce n'est pas la faut des propriétaires mais la future locataire est arrivée à 8h du matin et a voulu prendre notre chambre! On était encore dedans!!! Les gens tentent tout. Bref du coup la personne a squatté le canapé la cuisine... bref. Je n'ai pas aimé

Schöne Unterkunft mit nettem Gastgeber

Schöne Zimmer, gute Lage, voll ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, Terrasse mit toller Aussicht. Außerdem ein sehr netter Gastgeber - er hat uns einmal sogar vom Supermarkt abgeholt, weil wir noch kein Auto hatten, damit wir nicht alle Einkäufe tragen müssen!

Preiswerte Unterkunft

Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und lächeln stets. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Wir waren dort 4 Tage als Überbrückung. Haus ist schlicht und einfach gehalten, das war aber völlig in Ordnung für uns. Beim Auschecken war es sogar möglich erst nachmittags nach der Arbeit unsere Sachen abzuholen was äußerst geschickt war. Vielen Dank!
