On se sent comme chez soi. La kitchenette est un vrai bonus ! Le lit est très confortable. Richard est vraiment sympathique !

This spot was perfect for us. We came up from Christchurch for a show at the theatre in Takapuna and wanted to somewhere on the North Shore that wasn’t too expensive. The location was great, easy enough to get onto the Northern Motorway to go up North and see some sights, but out of the hustle and bustle and nice and quiet (lovely bird song). There was a car park for us to use the whole time which was perfect. The room was all we needed, a little kitchenette with everything you might need, very clean, a queen bed, and great bathroom (shower was way better than mine at home!) There were spare pillows and blankets and towels and best of all a perfectly working air con/ heater. The host let us arrive late as our flight arrival was in the evening, using the lock box was simple.
Also, loved all the art work!
Personally, we had no issues and had a great stay! Buuut, its probably good to be aware
- If you do not have a car and want to get around this is probably not a great/ easy access location
- The driveway is STEEP
- The room is connected to hosts house. The very slight noises we heard weren’t a bother and there is are “quiet hours” but if you want complete privacy this might not be for you.

Wonderful place to stay. Very private, comfortable, high quality accommodation.
A tiny thing, bit I do like to drink my tea out of a China mug! Plastic just isn’t the same.
