09.09.2024 – Arrived at the property at around 4pm, due to the cleaners still at the property after check in. I found mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, covering the far side and also covering the rear door which is located in the bathroom. I also found that the bedding was stained and dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. I had also noticed that the fire alarm in the kitchen, located at the front of the property, had dead batteries and had been removed and left on the table. 10.09.2024 – The morning of the 10th September the front door smart lock failed due to a dead battery and alarmed consistently for multiple hours. I spoke to the owner on the 10th of September regarding the alarm, mould and the other issues at the property. On the phone the owner wasn’t apologetic and blamed the cleaning staff for the issues and asked if I would go and buy a screwdriver to fix the smart lock myself which I refused and said he would send somebody later. At the time of calling the owner I had to leave just after for a pre-arranged site visit. I left the property before the owner/workers arrived. When I got back there was a worker at the property that was spraying bleach around the bathroom and I believed painted over the surfaces straight after. The property stunk of bleach and I was breathing in the bleach spray/mould which is incredibly bad for lung health. The worker then left without checking in with myself. Looking online I don’t think bleach even works on porous surfaces and just masks the problem. Since I left the property, I’ve not had any other communication with the owner. I left the property on the after my site visits on the 10th September at around 4pm.Booking.com did not do anything to assist with this at all keep offering £200 credit in the account which was refused and owner hid behind the T&C of the booking.

There is an issue for taxi in this area it is very difficult most of the service providers does not want to to come as it is little bit away from the centre of the city. Secondly, the internet cannot able to connect
