Beautifully clean Fantastic facilities

No sofa… buy no space to put it anyways

Extremely warm and bright, the house is comfortable and well equipped in a good, central location. Each bedroom has a useful sized en suite and the showers were hot with a very good flow.

Due to the size of the property the dining table and benches took up all the living space with no room for armchairs so relaxing in the evening with a large group was made a little more difficult. However the best was made of limited space.

The house is of exceptional quality, each bedroom is ensuite, the kitchen has everything you could need and the whole house was spotless. Lovely little garden area at the back with a picnic bench, perfect for a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Communication was great, self check in and check out was simple. The house is close to the town centre, we walked in everyday and plenty of shops for groceries close by.

Parking on the street is residents only and the car parks are quite expensive (even with discount)...so factor that in to the budget. However the train station is only a 15 minute walk away with direct lines to London and Heathrow and the bus service in the area seemed pretty good so a car isn't necessary depending on your plans.

Perfect accommodation for a family group attending a wedding. The 4 en-suite double bedrooms, one on the ground floor, were sparkling clean, comfortable and well equipped with TV, WiFi, hairdryer, toiletries and a fan - needed during our stay. We didn’t miss not having a lounge, we were able to sit in the pleasant yard and in the dining room. Well equipped kitchen with pods for the washing machine and tablets for the dishwasher. Lots of matching crockery and a variety of glasses. Iron and board are stored in the kitchen. Great idea to have the cupboards neatly labelled with the contents. Welcome pack of tea/coffee/sugar, cereals, milk and chilled water was appreciated. Small but adequate food shops within a few minutes walk included an M&S Simply Food and a Tesco Express. A CAMRA rated pub, The Nags Head with a beer garden, is just around the corner and a good range of takeaways close by. The area was quiet at night and the neighbours pleasant. Taxis from the train station charged between £6 - £13 depending on which taxi company we used! Early check in and check outs are possible depending on availability at £10 per hour. Latest check out 14.00. £200 damages deposit is required and was returned very promptly after departure. Photo ID for all occupants required in advance of check in. We enjoyed a comfortable stay which proved to be perfect for our needs and inexpensive compared with hotel rooms. Highly recommended.

The staircase is quite steep and doesn’t have a handrail, we managed but some people need a handrail. It would be nice to have some solar powered fairy light in the yard to add atmosphere in the evening.

There were supply of milk, coffee, tea, washing balls. Equipment were all new & functionable. Washing machine & dryer were very easy to be operated.

There was no pre-advice but needed all of our adults' photos identidies. I feel the apartment owner received excessive personal information. This could be told to the clients in advance and so clients have choice not to book if they do mind that. Actually I do mind. But at that point., I couldn't cancel the booking despite I nearly wanted to do it! Having said that, the way the owner organized the apartment was in detailed consideration according to the guests' needs. So I will still rate it as good.
