it was absolutely gorgeous and just as the name says “hidden retreat.” it was very private and we enjoyed that! it was also convenient that grocery stores were very close. the kitchen was supplied with all the tools we needed to cook our meals. the dog friendly accommodations was a huge plus! the staff was easy to get a hold of. all in all, it was so lovely and we will definitely be back!
it was actually quite difficult to find. the GPS never took us to the right spot so we spent a good 30-45 minutes trying to figure out where it was on the map, driving around in circles (probably freaking out the neighbors lol). it was also quite muddy out front so if we didn’t have a 4-wheel drive we might have been SOL. there were 2 codes sent to me in separate emails for the lockbox and it was super confusing - so it took a while to get in the house as well. additionally there was a leak in one of the bedrooms, but we just let the staff know.
