Monte Rio Dream

Clean, great location, easy walk to coffee shop, restaurant and golf course. Nice quiet streets to take a walk. Easy drive to River beaches and town. Well equipped, clean and spacious. Nice outdoor deck under the trees and nice spa. Highly recommend. Also, the management company went the extra mile to return clothing that I had left in the closet. Very good customer service.

Nothing

Cleanliness. Location. Comfort. Great beds.

Living room is a bit dark.

Location was great

When removing the pillow cases at the end of the trip the pillows were very dirty. Maybe put a clean pillow cover over the pillow before putting a clean pillow case on. The blender isn’t that great.

The main level and kitchen were comfortable.

We had a nice trip, but there were a few things that left room for improvement and led to my reduced reviews overall. * There was a very sticky and gross materials on all the inside of the kitchen cabinet doors that was pretty nasty. Would highly suggest this goop be cleaned for future stays. * The gap under the master bedroom door leading onto the deck was about 1 cm in width and let in a lot of light, noise, and bugs. Would suggest adding a gasket to properly seal the door. * Screens on the windows to keep bugs out in the evening would be pertinent and quite critical given how buggy the woods are, and the lack of A/C - the windows are the only fresh air flow. * The garage and garage mandoor were disgustingly full of bugs and cobwebs. It would be nice to keep this clean and not a mess of cobwebs for guests as they use the washer and dryer and garage. * The hot tub cover is coated in mildew on the inside and is desperately in need of replacement. * The beach towels are pretty worn and could use replacing. * The garbage disposal in the kitchen sink is lacking a cover, so when you run it it explodes in your face. Would be good to add a cover. * The house itself backs up to the main road through the area, and there was quite a bit of traffic noise. Its quieter at night, but with the windows open you can very clearly hear every car that drives past reverberating through the canyon.
