Appartement intra muros avec cour privée

The apartment is extremely well located within the walls of Avignon and only 10 minutes or so walk to the main square. We were travelling with a baby and the travel cot as well as some toys / extras eg a bouncer were provided. The apartment itself is comfortable and the courtyard was great. We didn't meet the hosts but they replied to messages quickly and helpfully.

Getting the keys took a little time as the door is opened remotely by the hosts after the buzzer is pressed, and we were late due to train delays, but once we were inside the keys were in the lock box as described in the information received before our stay and we had no other issues. The apartment could also be a little better stocked (coffee, tea, essentials eg oil/salt/pepper).

We loved the apartment, and found the location superb as many other reviews have mentioned. Since it was warm, we enjoyed the patio for breakfast and found it quite charming. Especially appreciated where the washing machine and the excellent selection of pans and utensils for cooking. Everything was extremely tasteful and practical. Even the knives were sharp, which is not always the case in rental units. A nice little Supermarket is a block or so away in the beautiful Square where there are many restaurants and places to get coffee as well. It was so easy to get around, and I appreciated all the little touches to make this stay enjoyable.

The only downside were the cactus tree blossoms which fell into the courtyard at this time of year. But if one always wears shoes, it should not be a problem.

The apartment was clean, very spacious and had excellent air con... We also appreciated the simple patio outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The location made it easy to walk into the centre of Avignon. The host responded very quickly to our messages too.
