The lack of wifi cost me 20 euro because I had to use my own data to make necessary connections.

The wifi did not work reliably. In the mornings the wifi worked but in the evenings it did not. This was probably due to the router not being used in the morning and so allowing availability being sent to the repeater in our room. This was under the control of the owner who did not allocate enough bandwidth to the wifi repeater.

Barebones Apartment in Good Location

Pretty good location. Quiet corner of the city. The apartment looks quite new. There is a TV. There was an information guide for the city. The check-in and check-out instructions are clear. Responsive host. Comfortable bed.

This is a very barebones apartment that does not actually provide a lot. It is much smaller than it looks, with very basic supplies. There is not a lot of effort to make the place actually welcoming, with the cheap shampoo, no hand soap, and all the utensils just kept in a plastic box. There is a water kettle but it doesn't work well with the sink. They also only provided 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people staying 1 week. Overall, it definitely felt like it was more for profit maximization than it was for hospitality (even less the environmental friendly things they say in their replies to other guests... if you actually care about the environment, you would not provide the cheapest possible shampoos/ dish wash/ non-recycled toilet paper).

Very comfortable apartment, we wish we had been able to stay longer and seen more of Lyon.

The location was great - quiet but very accessible; parking on site was excellent. Ghezlane was very approachable and helpful. We were only there one night but she helped us with local restaurant options, and made us feel very welcome.

The 56 steps to get to the room (no lift) and having the bathroom sink used as the kitchen sink poses plumbing problems.

Great value for location

It was a very well located studio flat and very good value. Tea & coffee were provided too. There were some stairs to climb to get to the third floor so it’s not for everyone but we were fine.

I would have preferred cotton sheets because I get very hot.

I liked the location and Stephenie was very helpful and responsive.

The bed linen was washed but I always prefer a lighter colour bed linen. Also it was in the attic of the building, very tiny and the bathroom even for a petit person like me was very very small. I also didn’t like that filmstrip curtain was used to cover the cabinet containing cleaning supplies.

Accommodation was a disaster

It was up 4 flights of narrow stairs with no lift. Bathrooms tiny, no bed just a matress on floor with a slanted ceiling so I could not stand up . Browm filth sheet and dark grey hard towels.

Decent and well-situated budget option in central Avignon

Good location (between the Pont and Palais as it says in the title). The room had most things you would need, and the compact bathroom was very nice. We met Stephanie (the owner) a couple of times, and she was helpful and delightful. (She also sent several messages between booking and arriving, which among other things made it very clear that we'd booked the "room" not the "apartment" - we weren't confused, but apparently others have been.) Excellent patisserie (La Tropézienne) with lovely croissants and sandwiches a few streets away in rue St-Agricole.

It was very small, which I kind of expected from the listing, but there are a few points worth noting... The bed is on the floor – no legs or divan base. The roof slopes on one side of the bed – so not great for the taller people among us. Also the room (chambre) is on the third floor up three flights of increasingly steep and narrow stairs. Everything is very compact, which works OK, and makes it a budget option in the lovely city of Avignon – but it’s worth people being aware.

The plug in the sink was broken and since I wear contact lens I was concerned I would wash them down the drain! It also would have been nice to be able to have a sink full of water for washing dishes and clothes

not what I was expecting from the advert. don’t book the one bed room.

room is located on 3rd floor which is really a room in the attic. the last floor of stairs were not much better than a ladder. certainly not good for a traveller with luggage. the room in the roof was very noisy it seemed to filter up noises from the street and surrounding buildings. wifi coverage was very bad. I paid for 3 nights but only stayed for one.

Very nice place

The location is excellent. A few minutes walk from the Pope's Palace. Very clean room. The host was extremely helpful and nice. We had bicycles with us, which were accommodated at extra charge, but the host did explain us in advance this was the policy of the place.

Superb

Charming Apartment right in the middle of the old town -- maybe 5 min by foot to the Papal palace! The upper double bed was on a platform above the lower double, but we are a close-knit group and loved "bunking" and the ceiling was high so everything was airy enough. Booking the secure parking in advance (€8/night, 6 min by foot) gave us ease of mind during this stopover as it helped us combine the fantastic location but still got the car squared away. Stéphanie was very helpful, friendly and prompt in responding :-) and the information around how to access keys and use the parking card was detailed and clear.

As this (tastefully remodeled) apartment is in a historic building, don't expect a vast staircase or elevator, and as there are real people living up and down the street (not just tourists) and a few cafés or bars a short walk away, those looking for monastic silence on the streets day and night should go elsewhere, as one _does_ hear sounds from within the building and also the street, but NOT traffic noise, which was key for us. The door to the street is a bit fickle, apologies to other tenants in the house because we ended up having to slam it in the end to make sure it was properly shut :-/
