Cute Apartment with good location but serious problems with stifling heat at night, inaccessible owners/management a

Nicely decorated and in a area close to activities

1: No ventilation…only a set of street windows with no other cross ventilation….EXTREMELY HOT with night temperatures ~ 80 F…only ventilation provided by 2 fans….very, very uncomfortable …larger fans should have been available 2: No access to owners…I submitted a question to owners via their web site ….I never ever got a response…when I called the phone # provided I got an automated “if this is an emergency call ….” No support whatsoever provided should questions arise. 3: Although a web site picture was provided as to location I discovered upon arrival there was no actual sign or any type of written indication by the entrance door that this was indeed the place…while attempting to figure out exactly behind which wall the premises were located was hassled by a drunk sitting across the entrance who wanted some euros to buy more booze

The position was amazing, based in the heart of the city, not far from the principal attraction. In the little square near the b&b there is a very very good brewery excellent for a pre dinner

Cosy with antiques

Lack of fresh air in the room made it very uncomfortable as only one window that could be opened faced onto street with people walking by all the time. Unfortunately the night we stayed the local beer garden hosted a rock concert that played very very loud music till late Dirty tea towel for dishes

Superb

The place was easy to reach during our bike tour along the Via Rhôna. We had a maisonette apartment in the second and third (top) floor. The entrance lies in a small lane close to the pedestrian precint. Since the corridor was too small to fit all our bikes, the host offered us the possibility to put the remaining bikes in the corridor of a different house nearby. The communication took place via text messages and was easy and fast.

Good place where is in central city. There has lots of bar and restaurants and a carrefour next to it

Excellent value for money and great care for the guest

We really liked everything! The apartment has a lot of character, is clean and super central. The self check-in is a flexible and easy option and hosts were always available for help via phone and messages. Nice folder inside with all info about the apartment and Avignon with plenty of suggestions. Lots of little beautiful details in the apartment which made the difference. Fresh water in the fridge, biological soaps, jar of home made jam... well done hosts!

Nothing really, just a note to warn those with restricted mobility about the presence of stairs. You might expect also a little evening noise from the people / music in the street, since the place is very central, but it didn't really bother us and at least there is no traffic noise, being the place in the pedestrian zone.

Tout, la maison est bien placée ( proximité de tout à pied + parking à 2/3 minutes pour la voiture). Spacieuse, beaucoup de charme. Les hôtes sont vraiment très réactifs et très gentils. Je recommande les yeux fermés

Mucho ruido si es fin de semana por la calle. Falta de limpieza en las escaleras Y las camas falta de sábanas y no te las preparan . El aparcamiento fatal si vas con maletas no puedes acceder al alojamiento.

Graziosissimo appartamento in pieno centro di Avignone , a due passi da negozi, bar, panificio palazzo dei Papi,.... Tutto! Comodissima l'organizzazione per le chiavi: con semplici, brevi ma chiarissime indicazioni abbiamo combinato senza incontrarsi quindi con ampia flessibilità di orari. Appartamento dotato di ogni comodità, grande anche per una famiglia numerosa. Atmosfera carica di storia familiare e tipicità francese. Prezzo onesto. Consigliatissimo.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

L'allartamento si trova in pieno centro, vicinissimo al Palazzo dei Papi. Per chi arriva in macchina c'è un parcheggio a pagamento a 3 minuti altrimenti un servizio navetta gratuito porta ad un parcheggio (gratuito) all'esterno delle mura. Entrando nell'appartmento ci si sento subito come a casa, è proprio molto bello. Ben arredato, pulito, viene lasciato in regalo un barattolo di marmellata, a disposizione anche caffè e tè. Abbiamo dormito benissimo, anche il divano letto molto comodo e, importante, silenziosissimo nonostante fossimo al primo piano. L'host è stato sempre rapido nelle risposte, gentilissimo a regarci la marmellata. Una bella esperienza, ci è piaciuta molto Avignone, spero di ritornarci presto e sicuramente sceglieremo quest'appartamento.

Sosta ad Avignone per il palazzo dei papi

La posizione molto centrale è ovviamente utile per visitare Avignone . Dall'appartamento a piedi si và al palazzo dei papi in poco tempo. Appartamentino non troppo curato , essendo situata in un palazzo probabilmente datato si riscontrano i segni del tempo . Cigolio del parquet e crepe d'assestamento nel controsoffitto. L'appartamento dispone cmq di tutto il necessario per una breve sosta , compreso angolo cottura. La macchina bisogna lasciarla nel parcheggio gratuito fuori dalle mura della città vecchia , c'è poi la navetta gratuita che ti accompagna a poca distanza dall'appartamento.

Camera matrimoniale in stanza senza finestre. A giugno con temperature calde ma non caldissime già è stato faticoso dormire anche se c'era un ventilatore. Nella sala invece divano letto ovviamente non comodissimo, per una o due notti però ci si può accontentare anche perché il prezzo era basso per un appartamento in posizione centrale. Problema invece avuto al mattino all'alba . Avendo dormito con le finestre aperte per il caldo, alle ore 6 hanno incominciato a passare con le spazzatrici meccaniche a getto d'acqua. Un casino infernale per parecchi minuti. A mio modo di vedere un po' pericolosa l'uscita dal portone soprattutto se si hanno dei bambini fare attenzione. Il portoncino è separato dalla strada carrabile da un marciapiede di 50 cm . L'appartamento si trova ad un primo piano raggiungibile con una stretta scaletta a chiocciola. Non adatto a chi ha problemi di deambulazione soprattutto con bagagli voluminosi .

centre ville d'Avignon mais plutot calme jolie vaisselle à l'ancienne jolie décoration , appartement rénové avec gout, sur 3 niveaux ventilateurs, mais il peut faire chaud dans la piece du haut en plein été

In viaggio con mamma

Posizione perfetta, centralissima. Sotto casa supermercato e localini. Noi abbiamo parcheggiato nel Parking vicino al Palazzo Papale e abbiamo camminato per 5/7 minuti a piedi. È perfetta per trascorrere la notte ad Avignone. Arredamento molto caratteristico e accogliente. Ci hanno fatto trovare della marmellata artigianale e l’occorrente per iniziare la giornata con un bel caffè in casa. Tutto pulito e profumato.
