It was a newly-refurbished / renovated private property, very clean and located at the center of Avignon, with complete and new facilities and utilities. The apartment was brightly decorated in white and sage green color theme, so it appears very serene and relaxing. It’s spacious, safe and very decent inside the unit.

The check-in time is too late for us - at 5PM. That eats up most of the traveler’s day. The check-in instructions from the property owner / administrator were to be emailed to the guest by noon (12 noon) of your check-in day. However, I requested them if I could receive the check-in instructions by 11am (instead of at 12noon). It was because, as I explained, once I check-out of my previous hotel, I would not be able to access my emails while I’m out without WiFi. Luckily, they obliged and agreed. They sent me the check-in instructions the night before. Thank you.

It was very well appointed and the kitchen facilities were very nice. It was also nice to have a secure patio to store our bicycles on.

We found the neighbourhood quite undesirable. It was quite a long walk to most of the main attractions, and it was very difficult to navigate the neighborhood. It was also quite a ways from any of the grocery stores. More importantly, the neighbourhood did not feel safe, with quite a bit of evident alcohol use, drug use, some sketchy characters, and human faeces in the streets. Also, we found the instructions on how to get into the property, quite confusing, as some important details were not in the welcoming email, but you had to press on a link that you could only get if you had cellular data. Information about Wi-Fi and essential information about how to get in was only available once you got in. The concierge servicewas not much help here.
