Not an ideal stay

It was in a great location and the furniture was comfortable

There was very loud drilling and gardening in the complex from 8am and the host never mentioned this would happen. In addition it was very hot with no air conditioning. There was a lizard in the toilet which we had to sort ourselves. Finally, we asked if we could leave our luggage for one hour after check out and the host refused. Overall not a great stay.

Great location, charming apartment with lots of character and history. We had a very small problem which was repaired within the hour. Very responsive manager.

Make yourselves chez vous

The apartment was clean, comfortable and stylish and I could have quite happily gone on living there. Le Pont d'Avignon is literally just around the corner and it was just a short walk to the Palais des Papes and into the centre of town. The entrance is on a colourful narrow street which runs parallel to the imposing medieval ramparts and to the beautiful River Rhone. It was fun to shop at Les Halles and cook in the well-equipped kitchen. It was a little early in the year to use the private courtyard but it was easy to see that it would be pleasant to take your apéro out there in the summer. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. The shower was spacious and powerful. Our hosts Florent and Adrien went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, sending us a list of sights and activities, together with an excellent list of recommended restaurants. When we arrived Florent told us to make ourselves 'chez nous' and it was a pleasure to do so.

The location is excellent. The apartment is well appointed and lives up to the pictures. Communication with the hosts was easy, and we appreciated them accomodating our schedule and sharing recommendations. We couldn't have been happier.

The only small issue we had was locating the wifi log-in information which they might want to consider providing via message. The wifi worked great once we were able to locate the log-in.

Charmant, meublé avec goût, confortable, grand et parfaitement conforme aux photos. Le patio est très agréable.
