Ground floor Excellent location, near all the landmarks in a quiet neighbourhood In Avignon, there is a free electric shuttle service called BALADINE which goes through all the very small streets and allows one to see Avignon old center while sitting down There is a Carrefou Express shop 5 minutes away The owner is very nice and one phone call away. I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The location is excellent, just 1 minute from the famous Avignon Bridge and about 3 minutes from the Palais des Papes and not far from the farmers’ market. I really loved the area. There are many souvenir shops, stores with French delicacies and lavender products, as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The apartment is also conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the train station and around 8 minutes from the free ferry, which runs every few minutes and takes you to the island on the other side of the river. From there, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the bridge, the palace, and the surrounding area. The host communicated very quickly, and the apartment was modern, functional, and well equipped. Everything during my stay went perfectly smoothly. Highly recommended.
