Location

Outside lights were on all night, shining through the thin blinds, we did not get much sleep. Room was stuffy and the ventilation provided was inadequate, having the window open meant road noise.

Very stasifed! The room was big, the bathroom was big, everything was remodelled 👌

Location was good, the entrance is on a busy street however it easy enough to get in and out. Lots of public transport close by. The parking is not secure but still thankful a space was provided.

Great stay, would absolutely come back!

Everything was clean and very tidy when we arrived, the information we received for checking in and out was fantastic and really informative. The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows! We will happily stay here again.

The blinds on the windows didn't make the room dark enough when sleeping, a lot of outside light was coming in. If there were black out curtains/blinds it would make a huge difference. I loved that there was a fan in the room as it was very hot, but it was just pushing the hot air around. Having a nice cold air con system in the rooms would be a big advantage.

66 Express Markets was very convenient , clean and tidy and would stay there again.

Location was good, we were attending something at the Spark Arena, very clean and tidy, unit close to car park, laundry facilities available if needed, kitchenette had a top cooker if needed, bathroom nice and good water pressure. Instructions to use door code were good. Good sized bed. Close enough to walk to Westfields at New Market.

It was OK that we didn't have an air conditioner, as mid-November still cool enough, using one sheet at night this year. But come summer would need something more than a fan. The ,little fridge was quite funky and retro, just not sure it was capable of keeping an ice-pack cool enough not to melt.

Good stay but would have appreciated it even more if everything was working

Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the super pressurized shower. The room was super quiet and appreciated the large TV. The location is great. Only a 10-minute walk to Newmarket shopping centre

The toilet seat was loose and too small for the toilet. The tap was wobbly in the bathroom Only the main light in the bedroom area worked. The smaller light by the bed didn't work and the USB plug in that was part of that set up didn't work either.

Great one night stay

Stayed in Auckland for a gig at Spark Arena. Very helpful and communicative host. Accomdated us with parking. Comfortable, cosy studio apartment. About $15NZD in a taxi to the CBD.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Check in was super easy. We were given the lock box code in advance and the instructions were clear. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean and felt quite fancy. There was a little traffic noise but given the location that was expected. This is my second stay here and I would return again.

Exceptional value for the price!

The self check-in method worked very well for our stay, was super easy to figure out and the host was very quick to respond to our messages. The apartment itself was very clean and modern, very well maintained unlike other hotels we have stayed at previously in the area. Also the toilet paper... What was that? Like 5 ply?!? 😲

The only improvement for us would be the pillows could do with replacing OR a couple of options as the two available were significantly low/flat. I ended up giving my partner both and I ended up sleeping on the European pillow. Oh and a dress mirror would be a good addition for the room but definitely not essential.

This is the second time we've started at these apartments. We booked two apartments this time. Our corner apt feels bigger and has more light than the other one although it's charged same amount. Sadly, no milk is provided anymore and we had to buy our own. Communication with owner is easy and quick. Very convenient location which we love.

There was no dish cloth or scrubbing brush in the kitchen. Great that it had a kitchen but unsure how to clean dirty dishes. The blinds did not block out the light at night. Attention to detail…the bathroom hand towel rail was obviously loose and wonky which would be an easy fix.

Very quiet and it’s near Westfield Newmarket. My bed was soooooo comfortable to sleep. The entire room was very tidy and neat. Bathroom is also beautiful and the main door has security lock.

Maybe just improve on the bath towels as there were stains on it when I arrived

Nice comfortable stay for short term. Very nice and modern rooms with good and spacious bathroom facilities and good clothing storage. Room (except under bed) was generally very clean. Comfortable bed.

The passive aggressive note left on our car by management telling us we were not supposed to park in the carpark was not appreciated (despite parking being part of what this accommodation offered). Further, under the bed could do with a vacuum - a lot of dust present.

A yea towel would be good. The door lock caused a few issues but had great help from the residents. Please email the instructions rather than using the booking app, this caused some confusion.

new way of opening door please

Mei was very helpful and friendly we had so much trouble trying to unlock the door with the self check in that even the lady who lived upstairs said everyone struggles. Mei made sure we were all good. The bathroom mirror was super fancy too and location was easy to get too.

The door was a nightmare to get into. We spent ages trying multiple times going out and in to unlock it. Defitnely needs fixing and made more accessibly even for two girls in our twenties. Would recommend just having a code on the door rather than a swipe machine that always gets mad when you try to unlock the door, The guy wasn't very friendly on the phone who said we swiped it too many times. Getting into a door should not be that hard.

Friendly, clean and comfortable

This is my second visit and I felt I was returning home as it was so welcoming - especially May greeting me as a friend. The place is modern, clean and comfortable. There is a sensor light in the bathroom for nighttime. Well equipped kitchen and good location. Bus stop outside and short walk to shops. I will definitely stay here again.
