About this cottage rental
A unique farm cottage overlooking a valley farm with animals close at hand. Laze in the claw foot bath on a private deck, or warm up by the outside fire. A beautiful bathroom with a large, tiled shower awaits after a long day adventuring, the rustic kitchenette and outdoor bbq will let you feed your soul while you sit and enjoy the view! Interaction with the horse, cows, sheep and dogs are at your request, as is access to walk the farm and picnic amongst the paddocks.
10 minutes from West City Mall, 30 mins to Piha Beach. Fabulous scenery and bush walks are not far away in the Waitakere Ranges, along with some beautiful local restaurants, all this only 30min from Auckland City (non-peak travel). Not suitable for children, the elderly or very large persons - a steep, narrow stair leads to loft bedroom.

What a beautiful spot! We spent the night here for our anniversary and it was just magical. Looking out onto rolling hills and the bath on the balcony made romantic by the extra little touches of pretty lights candles and bubble bath provided by Vaughan. He also let us feed the baby calves and then we went down to the 2 cows to feed them. Prince the horse was out in the paddock so we didn’t get to say hello but Vaughan made our stay very welcoming. They have the most lovely natured dogs one of which scooby came to say hello to us he was a cutie. The fire pit was all set up for us to use with extra wood if needed the whole stay was just a wonderful relaxing break from the city. Thanks so much Vaughan we’ll be back again when we can for another stay.

The place is absolutely beautiful. Hosts are super friendly and accommodating. Adorable tiny home in a picturesque setting.
