NeoKulla Hotel - Hikers Hive

We had a really lovely stay at Hikers Hive and would happily stay here again. The staff were genuinely amazing — so attentive, kind and accommodating throughout our stay. They really went above and beyond, even offering extra food despite the meals being a set menu, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was delicious too — both breakfast and dinner were excellent and honestly some of our favourite meals during our trip. We also loved that there was drinking tap water available, which was such a bonus after travelling and hiking. The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, quiet and tucked away with incredible balcony views all around. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the cosy duvet covers for chilly evenings. It felt like the perfect place to rest before or after hiking. The hotel can also arrange transport to the start of the Valbona–Theth hike, which was really helpful. There was a little confusion around the cost for us (€35 instead of the €15 we expected), but we’re sure it was just a misunderstanding. The only thing that let our stay down slightly was the hot water, which unfortunately wasn’t great during our stay. We’re not sure if other travellers experienced the same and it definitely didn’t feel like a staff issue at all — everyone was incredibly helpful and lovely. If the water had been hotter it genuinely would have been a 10/10 stay for us. Hopefully next time! Overall though, we had such a great experience and would absolutely stay again. – India & Omer ✨

Unfortunately hot water wasn’t working both the evening we arrived, as well as the following morning. It appeared as though it was running out, as it would start off a little warm and then cool drastically.

Der Ort hat „außer“ der Umgebung nichts zu bieten. Kein Market, aber ein paar wenige kleine Restaurants. Alles noch im Aufbau …, aber es wird fleißig an der Infrastruktur gebaut

Great hotel in an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room was big enough with a wonderful view. Breakfast and dinner were okay.

The bathroom was tiny with no separation between the shower and the toillets. The noise of people seated at the entrance of the hotel was disturbing. The breakfast and dinner could be improved.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful, very nice and clean rooms with great views. Dinner and breakfast are very recommended.

No elevator for the higher floors.
