Host helped to arrange pick up from center of theth after hike which made getting to home stay very easy. The view from the home overlooked the mountain. Dinner was incredible. Dishes kept on coming out. And breakfast set us up for success for a full day exploring Blue Eye and more.

Superbe vue sur les montagnes, nous avons eu du mal à trouver la maison mais le fils est venu nous chercher en voiture. Repas copieux et excellents. La maison et le jardin ont beaucoup de charme c’est très apaisant au cœur de la montagne. Je recommande ce logement!

This guesthouse is located a bit farther from the small village where the bus line ends. Since this was a hiking trip, we decided to walk there — it’s a couple of kilometers, mostly uphill. Later that day, we walked back to the village to buy some groceries and then returned to the guesthouse. (For those who prefer not to walk, a taxi was available when the bus arrived.)
The guesthouse is run by a lovely couple. They don’t speak English, so we used Google Translate quite a bit, which worked fine. Our room was a little chilly, but extra blankets kept us warm enough. There was no heating, and the temperature dropped close to zero during the night. The bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly.
We were served a wonderful dinner and breakfast made with local ingredients. We hadn’t realized in advance whether the meals were included in the stay, but when we settled up with their daughter upon departure, we found that each meal was €10 — and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious!
All in all, we had a fantastic stay and can warmly recommend this guesthouse.
The distance from the village can be troublesome for those who don’t like to walk.

Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires de ce grand chalet. Bon petit déjeuner. Perdu, isolé et très difficile d'accès donc très calme. Il faut demander de venir vous chercher et laisser votre voiture au village.
Pas de chauffage, j'ai eu très froid. en octobre... Aucune décoration, pas de lampes de chevet. Ampoules au plafond.
