We loved our stay here! The room as cozy, quiet, and comfortable (not to mention clean). We loved all the flowers outside and the view from our room as well as the view from the restaurant. The food was great. The host server we interacted with was kind and helpful.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always available. You could really tell how hospitable the owners are and how much effort they put into making their guests' stay enjoyable.

This old hunting lodge for General Tito has seen better days. The rooms are very clean and have been renovated but basic. The environment has some abandoned vehicles and trailers which do not give a good impression. Food was hearty with large servings but expensive. The area is beautiful, being close the Black Pine Forest and the Tana River Gorge. The price was very good so overall it was an acceptable stay but unfortunately, due to a landslide access to the Dormitor National Park required a 2 1/2 hour journey.
Untidy environment. Sense of disrepair.
