Bujtina Izet Selimaj was a wonderful accomodation in Valbona. The rooms were very comfortable and offered an exceptional view. Our hosts were also super friendly and packed us a lunch for the Valbona-Theth hike, and the restaurant was great!

Walls were paper thin

Excellent choice for staying in Valbona. Easy to find, with fabulous views from our rooms. The family running the place are so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time with them. They helped us find a guide for the trek and move our luggage on to Theth. They suggested great hikes for the extra day we had in Valbona. They have a vehicle to take you to the start of the hike (for a charge). They have a lovely glass fronted restaurant and outdoor space for eating and serve great meals, drinks and breakfast. The rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

This old hunting lodge for General Tito has seen better days. The rooms are very clean and have been renovated but basic. The environment has some abandoned vehicles and trailers which do not give a good impression. Food was hearty with large servings but expensive. The area is beautiful, being close the Black Pine Forest and the Tana River Gorge. The price was very good so overall it was an acceptable stay but unfortunately, due to a landslide access to the Dormitor National Park required a 2 1/2 hour journey.
