The domain itself is breathtaking – full of charm, history, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you instantly feel relaxed. It's the perfect place to unwind, and it was incredibly convenient for our trip. Even though we stayed only one night, it felt like a special escape – a moment of calm and inspiration. Everything was great!

Everything was great! The owner of the house, Raffaele, greeted us very warmly, showed us the house and our room. The interior of the house is very beautiful, the nature in the yard is beautiful, everything is very well-kept. It was not just an overnight stay, but an unforgettable experience: we plunged into history, touched art and beauty!

Wonderful property with potential for a nice B&B

Was wonderful to explore the beautiful property; nice host, very welcoming; a little bit of farm feeling with geese, sheep, goats, too. The host opened the attic for a costume party. Common room/bar very nice to hang out. Enjoyed a piano night.

Breakfast was overpriced (€22/person/day) and underwhelming (viennoiseries, lots of bread, two types of marmelade, orange juice, coffee, tea; fruits, ham and cheese only the second day). Strange setup of the ‘room for three with garden view’ for two adults and a child - child’s room was around the corner down a hallway. Had to sleep with unlocked doors. Room and bathroom was very dark.

Very charming place

Very charming place to spend a night. We especially liked the quiet location with the nice garden and the animals and the possibility to dress up in special costumes. The rooms were fantastic and the breakfast was delicious. The location within 10 minutes of Pairi Daiza is ideal if you want to visit the zoo.

The place is very old and some steps/tiles are not 100% fixed so you sometimes have to watch your step.

Beautiful Chateau. Super helpful host. We had a tour around the house and a nice chat with the owner about a history of the place. The room was really big and extremely quiet. Many antique things in the house.

This place is a true gem! I was initially looking for a quick one-night stay on my journey back home, but I stumbled upon this extraordinary booking. Situated within a castle, the rooms exude the charm of the XVI century, boasting a beautiful and comfortable ambiance. The owner is an incredibly friendly and passionate individual, eager to share the history of the castle, rooms, furniture, paintings, and more. His enthusiasm for history is evident in every meticulously decorated room, creating a magical and authentic experience. The surrounding garden adds to the enchantment, featuring a picturesque lake and the delightful presence of ducks and sheep strolling about. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peaceful moments. The breakfast served in one of the rooms, accompanied by a parrot, was an absolute delight. Fresh coffee and pastries added to the memorable experience. What's even better is that this place is pet-friendly, making it an ideal choice for travelers with furry companions. I cannot recommend this place enough, and without a doubt, I will choose to stay here again when I'm in the area on my next trip.

È stato bellissimo. Rafael è veramente un oste impeccabile. La camera è andata oltre le aspettative, e gli animali (pecore all'ingresso!) erano un tocco in più. Bellissima la cavallerizza ristrutturata come teatro. Colazione optional buonissima e vegetariana. Ci torneró di sicuro!

Super accueil. Château à l’allure désuète, vieillot. À y regarder de près, tout est cohérent, parfois très surprenant et interpellant, mais globalement très bien et le souvenir laissé est excellent. Bon point avec le théâtre dans les écuries et la salle des costumes.

La salle de bains un peu just, mais là aussi dans le contexte.

Propulsés hors du quotidien dans les royautés du 18ème siècle.

La gentillesse de notre hôte, l'immersion dans une autre époque et le fait de pouvoir "changer de peau" en étant traités comme des rois. Nos petits-fils, 6 et 9 ans ont adoré mettre des "vêtements d'époque", comme l'a raconté le plus grand, et déjeuner, servis comme des princes.

Ne pas pouvoir facilement ouvrir la fenêtre pendant la nuit.

Un lieu pas comme les autres et c’est tellement rare !

Tout! L’ambiance, le décor magique, enfin un établissement pas comme les autres qui ressemble au maître des lieux. Raffaele est un formidable « ambianceur » qui adore vous raconter des histoires avec l’œil qui frise et un petit sourire toujours prêt à se transformer en rire aux éclats. Il a plein de tours dans son sac… (et des cartes magiques)

Retour au 18ème siècle

L'endroit est vraiment très calme, très romantique et décoré avec soin, on se prend au jeu de remonter le temps et de partir à la découverte de Marie-antoinette. Raffaele est super sympathique et aux petits soins pour ses voyageurs. Vrai passionné du 18ème siècle, il est tout aussi passionnant avec ses morceaux d'histoire; on l'écouterait durant des heures. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, servi avec soin dans la salle des Lumières, tout aussi décorée et inspirée de Versailles. Un endroit à recommander et où on y retournera avec joie.

Oud gebouw , kamers donker , bestoft , faciliteiiten triestig , treden van trap gebroken , gebarsten , gevazrlijkee toestanden . We zijn in onze auto gestapt en naar huis gereden , in zo een hotel blijf ik niet overnachten . De revieuw van 9/10 onbegrijpelijk !!!!

Mooie locatie, kamer en gezellige gastheer.

Heerlijk rustige locatie en de kamer die wij hadden was erg mooi. Onze gastheer Rafael was heel erg aardig en zorgde goed voor ons. Er stond een mooi en uitgebreid ontbijt voor ons klaar in de ochtend met klassieke muziek op de achtergrond. Wij hadden de torenkamer en daarnaast, op zolder, was een kamer met middeleeuwse kledij die wij aan mochten doen voor foto's te maken en natuurlijk hebben wij dat gedaan.

Als we dan toch een minpuntje moeten geven was dat dat we een nat tapijt in de slaapkamer hadden liggen omdat blijkbaar de vorige gast de douche had laten overlopen.

Une immersion unique, délicate et profondément humaine… Un instant rare à vivre au moins une fois.

Accueil charmant dans un lieu de rêve.

Ce séjour nous a littéralement projetées hors de notre quotidien. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, qui ravirait tous les fans du carnaval de Venise par sa décoration. Et je n'oublie pas la gentillesse et les bons conseils de notre hôte, qui de plus sait si bien raconter l'histoire du château. On ressent sa passion et son amour du lieu. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir ;-)
