The fellowship of Monschau

The house was super clean, everything was available for us to enjoy the best experience ever (bath clothes, board games, fire place, parking spots, comfortable beds, etc.) we were quite impressed by the warm welcome we had with the landlord it really made the difference and I couldn’t remember seeing such welcoming in any of the house I visited. As mentioned on the walls, it is really a place to relax! We will definitely come back 🙂

Great value for a stay in the Eifel region

Great location, close to Monschau and in close proximity to several restaurants/shops (if you are there with a car. Not ideal if you are relying solely on public transport). Great location for people looking for an active getaway (great starting place for cycling and hiking routes - beware of the hills though). Plenty of room. Fully stocked. Comfortable beds (matrasses were very firm, the pillows pretty soft). Very friendly and accommodating host. Nice garden with great views.

Very welcome, clean, lots of space, good for families, Many walking and biking trails nearby.

It is a very warm and welcome holiday house, everything you have at home, is present. There is a bakery 300m walking distance. A small grocery store for daily utilities.

We did not have any remarks during our stay.

Fantastisch huis. Aanbevolen.

Groot en ruim huis, kindvriendelijk, van alle denkbare gemakken en spullen voorzien. Met 2 badkamers en een extra toilet uitermate geschikt voor grote families/groepen. Degelijk. Fijne ligging om te wandelen door het Rur-dal en/of naar Monschau. Plaatselijke winkel heeft superlekker brood. Overal aardige mensen.

Huis heeft helaas nog geen oplaadpunt voor electrische auto’s; 500 m verderop echter openbaar oplaadpunt tot 22 kW. Bedden iets aan de stevige kant, maar dat is natuurlijk ook een persoonlijke zaak; bedlinnen wat aan de kleine kant.

Weekend Monschau kerstmarkt

Zeer sfeervolle en ruim opgezette locatie. Het huis is zeer compleet ingericht. Het ontbrak ons aan niets! Zelfs een ijslepel voor schepijs was aanwezig! In één woord TOP!!! Een hele mooie uitvalsbasis om Monschau te bezoeken! Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw!

Prima voor elkaar!

Top voor elkaar en super verzorgd. Host was super vriendelijk. Bij aankomst stond de koffie en champagne klaar en zelfs kleine koekjes voor de kleine stonden klaar. Erg hartelijk ontvangen.

Voor iedereen anders, maar wij vonden de kussens van de bedden aan de zachte kant.

Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, hat immer schnell auf Nachfragen geantwortet und der Garten war ein Traum!

Der Kühlschrank war etwas klein für 8 Leute. Aber das war der einzige Punkt, es war durchweg wirklich toll! Jederzeit wieder!

Super lekker huis in rustig dorp vlakbij Monschau. Heerlijk grote tuin met vuurplaats en bbq mogelijkheid. Wandel- en fietsroutes beginnen voor de deur.

Einfach eine tolle Location, mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern.

Die Schlüsselübergabe lief problemlos. Man wurde schon mit einem gedeckten Tisch und einer Flasche Sekt empfangen.

Alles hat die Erwartungen erfüllt oder sogar noch übertroffen. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man mal abschalten möchte. Die Feuerstelle in dem riesigen Garten ist ein absolutes Highlight.

Sehr schönes, geräumiges und gepflegtes Ferienhaus

Ein sehr schönes, geräumiges und gepflegtes Ferienhaus, in dem wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Abstimmung, z.B. zu An- und Abreisezeiten, war völlig problemlos. Bei Ankunft erwarteten uns ein eingedeckter Tisch, gekühlter Sekt, Wasser und Süßigkeiten. Haus und Garten bieten viel Platz und sind ideal für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern. Schön waren auch die vielen Spiele, so dass es für die Kinder viel zu entdecken gab. Die Lage ist ideal, sehr ruhig und mit tollem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, ein Bäcker, zwei Restaurants und ein Spielplatz sind fussläufig erreichbar.
