Apartman Ilijana

Sehr gute Lage, schöne Wohnung mit Balkon. Und man findet auch immer einen Parkplatz.

I’ve been traveling and booking places regularly for the past four years, and Apartman Ilijana is one of the few that truly gave me a warm, homey vibe from the moment I arrived. The apartment is spotless, cozy, and beautifully arranged — you can really tell care was put into every detail. The terrace is lovely, and the view from the bedroom window was simply amazing. One special touch I really appreciated: Ilijana left little dog treats for my pup, which was such a thoughtful gesture! She was also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. As for the parking — no issues at all. For those mentioning it in reviews: there are two large parking lots just a 5-minute walk away, which worked perfectly for me. The location is also great — peaceful, yet only about a 15-minute walk to the historic center of town. Overall, a wonderful stay that felt more like visiting a friend’s home than staying in a rental. I would absolutely book again!

The apartment is great - spacious, well-designed, full kitchen with all the things you need (salt, pepper, oil, coffee). Everything works. The terrace/balcony is great. It is only a 15-20 min walk to Zadar Old Town. There is a small store 2 mins away and a larger one 5 mins away. There is parking and easy access to the large roads for day trips. Very convenient - would definitely consider staying here if we are in Zadar again.

The immediate neighborhood and the building itself are quite off-putting - a block of Soviet-Era apartment buildings that are badly in need of some upkeep. However, once you are out of the immediate neighborhood (about 3 mins walk), all is fine. Another issue is that while there is free parking around the building, it is tight and it may take some time and luck to find a spot (we always did. However, the pros of this apartment are much greater than the cons.

Charming and very well maintained apartment. Owner very helpful and caring about the comfort of tourists.
