The Lawn Yurt

This was a beautiful stay after camping at Féile Vegan, it was so lovely to discover Munny Farm, it was so peaceful and welcoming especially with my cavachon boy, he loved it!

Location was absolutely stunning! Beds were comfortable. There was alot to keep the kid entertained. They loved exploring the farm and meeting Rosie the dog & the horses. There was a fire pit & private seating per yurt aswel as a communal firepit & pizza oven along with seating with a stunning countryside backdrop. Communal toilets were a short walk from each yurt. A communal fully equipped kitchen with hot water was just a short walk away. Ann-Marie was very friendly & helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay & the kids seemed delighted with all the freedom of the campsite.

Things to note -no electricity in yurt but plenty of sockets in the communal area -no bin in yurt but again all available in the kitchen & toilet -yurt was a bit chilly with all the gaps floor & tent itself. There was a gas fire, lots of blankets & hot water bottles provided but our clothes seemed a little damp in the morning. -bedding had stains (what looked like dried bird poo) presumably from being on a clothes line but we just didnt use that blanket. -yurt looked visible damp with stains on the walls & ceiling but probably the all due the the Irish weather just didnt look very pleasant to look at lying down -we wernt provided with a key to the yurt. We had the campsite to ourselves so didnt feel the need to ring about it. But might be worth mentioning. -wasnt ready until 3.45. Might be worth messaging ahead of time to confirm arrival time. However this did not effect our stay as the kids were only happy to go exploring while we waited.
