An excellent few days spent in a lovely city and great apartment which we have rebooked for next year.

Excellent location, only 10 minutes walk into York, well equipped apartment, very clean and tidy.

Nothing to dislike really, but if I were to make a suggestion I would say a larger bed in one of the rooms would be a plus, it felt like a very small double bed! Also some softer pillows, they were quite hard!

Good place to stay for access to York, not really secluded and no parking at the property though.

Great location, good facilities and levels of comfort

It didn’t really have parking quite as expected which was one of the reasons we chose it and paid more. Parking was on a street about a 10 minute walk away.

Very nice and quirky and clean, close walk to the centre

Far too cold. If I had a baby or kids there’s no way I could’ve stayed, I’d of had to book elsewhere. I had to buy a hot water bottle

Lovely and enjoyable stay

Great location, really nicely done out inside the apartment, comfy beds and nice and quiet. Host was really helpful and informative and replied to messages very quickly.

We had issues with the key to the front door. On occasions we were left outside jiggling and wrestling with the key for a good 10 minutes. Looking at the lock and latch it looks like it doesn’t quite line up. The fridge was also broken on the day we checked in. The host did provide us with a camping style fridge which served a purpose but you couldn’t have fit much in it.

We love the space and would love to come back.

Clean, spacious, and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped. Excellent location.

The host doesn’t provide on-site parking, but they did let us know that free street parking is available about a 5-minute walk away, which was manageable—though carrying luggage that distance was a bit inconvenient. One of the bedrooms faces a pedestrian path (privacy isn’t an issue as there are blinds), but we could hear people talking outside.

The location was good. Close to city walls and places of interest. The place is quite spacious with a TV and dining room in the basement. The kitchen is well equipped

Free Parking is about 250m away. Luckily found a spot to park. It might get full and if that happens, you'll need to pay for parking if you're driving.

We would definitely recommend this great place unless you need guaranteed parking outside

I booked it for my children so didn’t actually see it myself but the location is great and everything was lovely for them with a few lovely extras like wine, fresh milk tea coffee. It had everything they needed for a great weekend

Nothing except although this wasn’t relevant to us as children arrived by train, above advertised as with parking but there is no designated parking. If you read the details it does correctly say where you can park for free nearby (5 minutes away) this is only if spaces available and often there are no free spaces. This might be important to people who need guaranteed parking

Beautiful spacious appt

Easy to find and enter. Beautifully decorated and many small touches which just made our stay great. Kitchen well kitted out, over all clean and just a great home for the weekend ended with watching the TV after some great meals and sore legs from all the walking. Just 15 mins to walk into centre of the city so perfectly suited to a short stay x

Wouldn't like to be going up and down the stairs after a few drinks 😄
