Wonderful, comfortable little hotel in this gorgeous town!

This hotel was charming and the room was very cosy. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. WiFi worked fine. The bathroom had amenities. There was breakfast included and it was varied and filling. The owner was very friendly and helpful, . I could leave my luggage there both before check-in and after check-out. Very quiet and a bit out of the touristic center. It’s located at the far end of the town, near the gate, however the bus I took there stopped only at the other gate. In any case, the town is so small that walking from one end to the other doesn’t take too long. San Gimignano was the prettiest place I visited in Italy. If I ever go back, I’ll definitely stay a the same hotel.

This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast establishment with quality food and service.

Check in was easy and location easy to find and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful with advising about transport to the next village. We also ate in the restaurant which was very good.

There was nothing to complain about. We were well looked after.

Location was excellent - within the walls of old town San Gimignano, close to many restaurants, services, etc. Easy to find. Host was welcoming, helpful, informative. Room was right sized, comfortable, quiet, easy to control room temperature. Bed was comfortable, shower nice and hot. Breakfast was great. Hotel has a reputable restaurant - a desirable amenity.

The owner should to decide if he host tourists or organize private partyes. Both doesn't work.

Very good location, the room was clean , the breakfast delicious and the staff nice and friendly, too friendly even with very noisy restaurant clients. So, doesn't matter the bed was very good , if the night was terrible.

In the restaurant, right under my room was a 20-30 local people party, that did last till 1:30 at night and the staff was to nice to tell them they are disturbing the guest that paid for the room.

Really disappointing

The location is excellent, few steps from the main points to visit in San Gimignano

In the room you could hear all the noise of the people eating downstairs at the Locanda. People shouting and singing after midnight, so noisy like they were inside the room. Impossible to fall asleep. The noise continues when the people of the hotel clean the restaurant and starts quite early when they start preparing the breakfast in the kitchen. The shower needs definitely to be renewed, terribly old and rusty bathroom. The personal didnt even ask how was our stay, they didnt ask if we needed something else when serving the breakfast.

Lovely old home in the centre of San Gimignano. Comfortable and very clean room, friendly owners, literally adjacent to a range of restaurantes and cafes. 5 minute slow walk to town centre. So beautiful :)

What fantastic accomodation, no complaints from me. Bed was comfy, room was a cool temperature, staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great location as it is just round the corner from the Main Street but gives you a bit of peace and quiet away from the crowds. 10/10

The bathroom needs maintenance. No soap holder in the shower. The shower was clogged. The bathroom trash lid was broken. The fan was old and made a very annoying mechanical sound. My room’s window was facing the backyard which is also the outdoor of a restaurant therefore there loud voices till around 11.

Central, professional an clean hotel with great breakfast.

The breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was very professional, ample and all the products were of high quality. The room is that of an old Italian Hotel - it is dated but has character. The room was large. The hotel is central.

No aircon in the room, had to ask for a fan. No fly screens on the windows so lots of bugs. The room is dated and there is some superfluous/cheap furniture which tarnishes the look of the room.
