This renovated house, which consists of two separate houses, is located in the hilly area of Veddinge Bakker, known among others among artists.
Both houses are nicely furnished. One of the houses has a sauna and whirlpool. Both houses have beautiful terraces with sheltered spots from the wind. Here you can spend many pleasant hours. The houses are situated on a large, overgrown plot with a view of Sejerø Bay. They are in the Veddinge Bakker area, the hilliest area in Denmark. Nearby there are masses of forest and beach, steep slopes to Sejerø Bay and beautiful nature. The ice age landscape in Odsherred is unique. That is why Odsherred is a geopark. Take a trip on the burial mound road and experience the Ice Age landscape, the Stone Age barrows and the Bronze Age burial mounds, the souls in Ulkerup, Hempel Glass Museum, Odsherred Museum, which has a copy of the sun chariot found in Trundholm Mose swamp. The castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. The nature school with its many activities from hunting for sea delicacies, expeditions in the forest, butterfly safari to troll and fox excursion. If you love hiking, then take one of the three walks: "The sea, the sand and the wind", 16.2 km, "The water of the birds", 8 km or "Culture on the coast", 7.5 km. Children will love to see the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum, or you can go on a seal safari from the harbor in Rørvig. The area offers good opportunities for mountain biking, cycling, running and fishing. Also visit Dragsholm Castle, which offers fine gastronomy made from the organic produce of the area and is said to have its own ghost. Sommerland Seeland, charming Rørvig, Nykøbing and the many galleries are also worth a visit. From Havnsø ferries go to the small islands of Sejerø and Nekselø.
