The animals and the location

Room wasn’t as nice as the pictures. The extra bed didn’t have bed sheets and pillow only blankets. We were three and we only got towels for two. We tried the jacuzzi and dirt came out the jets

The peaceful and welcoming environment, the silence at night that gave us the best sleep. Was the perfect overnight stay on our travel from Mons Klint to Copenhagen. The hostess Helle has a passion for rare animals and that was a delight to all of us! The place is super clean!

Dream house with a beautiful garden and animals in it: horses, donkeys, buffalos, and cats with kittens!

The apartment we stayed at had a bed-sofa that needs to be changed for a new one. You could feel the bed ribs due to long usage. Very simple kitchen.

A magical place with everything you need

It’s such a magical place. Just being able to look out the window and seeing horses play and the beauty of nature was so healing and calming. The decor is impeccable and the host has thought of everything. It is 10 min from the city center and it Is easy to get around. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Eccentric “hygge” - would definitely stay there again

It was different, slightly eccentric, lovely to sit on our balcony looking at the animals

Only comment is that better lighting in the room for reading would be useful, also no wardrobe or hanging space in our room.

The whole set up- the room was gorgeous, the animals are so cute, from the kittens to the Donkeys, Cows and Horses etc, and the scenery was beautiful. Taking a walk on her property which we didn’t know about until we arrived but was a nice surprise. We ended up taking wedding photos on the grounds which came out amazing because of the scenery. It was exactly as pictured and advertised. Helle is a very nice host, and provided us with everything we needed, all the usual things included to very high standard. The Guesthouse is a train or bus ride away from Køge and no trouble to get to. The area is so nice so it’s a pleasurable walk.

Fantastic and will hope to stay there again but for longer

The property had been tastefully furnished in an extremely peaceful and tranquil setting on a small farm with calves, donkeys horses and the most cute 4 week old kittens. lovely extensive gardens and the town of Koge had some many excellent restaurants, history and good shops.

Large airy room on edge of Koge

Lovely big room. Not as isolated as I imagined, so easy to find with main roads nearby. Could park outside room. Large comfortable bed. Lots of seating choices. Looking out at horses, donkeys and alpacas.

There are huge windows, lovely during the day, but with curtains covering just the lower part, which we had to hang ourselves by standing on a chair. There are nails to attach the curtains to. Also the shower door is difficult to open and makes a dreadful noise as it scrapes across the floor. Perhaps the biggest problem for us was acquiring the cash to pay for our 4 night stay. We had to pay extra fees at the ATM and it took a while to gather the money from our UK accounts.

Meeting expectations on a beautiful farm

We enjoyed our stay. It is a wonderful farm with lovely animals ! The spa room was as expected, all the things that were put on the website was there in the room. I loved the animals and the little book of how the quest house was made.

For us the bed was a little soft. Also on some kitchen supply’s there was to much dust, so we wouldn’t use it.

Exactly the super relaxed and romantic weekend we needed

I have to admit, we came to chill in the awesome jacuzzi tub, and that's what we did! It was the awesome.

The ventilation in the bathroom didn't work, so it became quite damp. Not really a problem for us, but it might become a problem for the host.
