What a find!

This place was superb! Well-decorated, spacious, and super quiet. We had one of the best night's sleeps of our entire trip. The breakfast was incredible! Sam, the host, was super helpful and made this stay one we will allways remember!

Great place to stay.

Sam was very kind and helpful, the room was amazing, as was the bathroom. The grounds are delightful, with many fruit trees. The breakfast was fantastic. Great stay. We will be back. Sunny the Dog is adorable.

Lovely and cozy stay

Great location and well communicated by train to Brugge and Ghent. The room was big and cozy. Sam (and his lovely dog) was very kind and gave us some local recommendations. He also let us use the jacuzzi, which was amazing with the sunset. Delicious breakfast was included. If you’re looking for a relaxing environment, very well communicated with Brugge and Ghent, we highly recommend this accommodation.

Perfect location to explore and relax.

Sam and Sonny are the best hosts! We were made to feel really welcome and Sam told us lots about the history of the building and local area and gave us really great tips about getting around and places to go that made our trip even better. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches that made it really feel like a home from home. The bed was huge and super comfy. The grounds are lovely and peaceful and Sam has created a place where you can really relax. The village has a couple of restaurants, a supermarket, shops and bars so everything you need is close by. The train station is at the end of the road and you can get to Ghent in about 15 mins and Bruges in about 25 mins from here. So a perfect location to explore Belgium's most beautiful cities and a peaceful base to return to each night.

Perfect peace and quiet getaway!

We were able to check in a bit later and they were very friendly about it. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was brought to the room and there were plenty of options. We couldn’t even finish it all. If you want to enjoy some peace and quiet in a gorgeous renovated comfortable barn, this is the place!

We didn’t hear when they brought the breakfast so we were waiting and when I checked outside the door, it was already there.

A great welcome from Sam an excellent host who did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable which it certainly was. We enjoyed relaxing in the deck chairs in the garden and Sam has a community room where you can relax and enjoy coffee or tea . We spent a peaceful quiet night and were served an excellent breakfast in our room. Thank you Sam for the friendship and caring for us. A lovely area for cycling in and Hamiora an excellent place to rest.

prima voor 1 nacht.

Het was een leuk verblijf. Het ontbijt was lekker. We hebben goed geslapen. Eigenaar was heel erg aardig en heeft ons een leuke rondleiding gegeven.

Ik vond het erg stoffig en in de douche was erg veel schimmel. Ikzelf vind het belangrijk dat het schoon en fris is.

Gute Unterkunft für einen Besuch in Gent

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und der Vermieter sehr nett. Auch sein Hund Sunny freut sich immer über Gäste und ist sehr lieb. Die Lage ist super, man ist in maximal 5 Minuten zu Fuß am Bahnhof, von wo man nach Gent oder Brügge fahren kann. Mit dem Zug ist man in 10 Minuten in Gent. Das Auto kann man kostenlos vor dem Haus parken.

Manche Fenster waren älter und dadurch war es in Teilen der Unterkunft etwas zugig und nicht ganz warm. Es waren einige Haare auf dem Boden, die nicht von uns waren.

Zeer goed bed. Vlakbij station om snel in Gent en Brugge te komen. Dubbele wastafel. Lekker ontbijt.

De geur van een niet goed werkende afvoer was te ruiken in heel het appartement. Dit was onaangenaam.

Parfait 👍

La chambre est très jolie, propre et spacieuse. Elle se situe dans un très bel environnement, au calme, à mi chemin entre Gand et Bruges. L'hôte est très accueillant et serviable et le petit déjeuner est excellent : copieux, produits frais et locaux. Tout était parfait !

Fabuleux endroit pour un week end romantique

Tout etait parfait !! L accueil par notre hote, la chambre appartement charmante et tres spacieuse, la salle de bain confortable, le petit dejeuner incroyable !! Tres bons conseils fournis pour nous ballader et se rendre a Gand.

Gastvrij ontvangst, in de b en b Uitgebreid ontbijt, fijne badkamer, auto mocht na vragen op het domein staan, bus en trein station op 5 minuten lopen, prima slaapkamer, alles is aanwezig, kortom top !

petit déjeuner très copieux et varié, ressemblait plutôt à un brunch donc parfait. Lieu très calme. Propriétaire disponible et discret, a donné de bon conseils. Proximité de la gare (à pied) pour se rendre à Brugge ou Gant sans la voiture

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Sam en zijn vrolijke hond. Voelden ons erg welkom. Alles sfeervol ingericht. Mooie boomgaard. Het ontbijt was buitengewoon. Met veel liefde en aandacht gemaakt.

Heel erg fijn verblijf met een vriendelijke gastheer.

Deze B&B uitgezocht omdat het mooi tussen Gent en Brugge ligt. Met de trein zijn deze steden 1 x per uur goed te bereiken. Verder is het een rustig dorpje met prima restaurant. De eigenaar verwelkomt je hartelijk en als hij even tijd heeft vertelt hij van alles over het hotel en wat er te doen is. Verder heeft hij ook een tafel geregeld in het genoemde restaurant aangezien het nog wel eens druk kan zijn. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit. De kamer is heel ruim, wel oppassen als je wat langer bent. Oude woning (mooi gerenoveerd) dus lage balken. Bed is prima, sanitair ook naar behoren. Alles wat je mag verwachten.

Ontbijt is op de kamer via een dienblad. Dat had wat ons betreft ook in de woonkamer mogen zijn. Dan zie je misschien ook de andere gasten. Dat vinden wij wat gezelliger. (Voor mensen die van privacy houden is het natuurlijk prima!)

Hamiora is erg charmant en wordt goed gerund!

Allerbest vonden we het ontbijt: lekker, gevarieerd, met plaatselijke producten & leuk gebracht. De inrichting van de kamer was erg charmant en toch praktisch.

Niets viel er tegen. We hadden wel een worstelwedstrijdje met een 'koppig' koffiezetapparaatje. We hebben onze vriendelijke, sympathieke host daarover ingelicht.

Das Frühstück war klasse. Jeder Tag frisches Obst. Die Lage ist genial mit einem riesigen Garten mit Liegen und Stühlen zum entspannen. Wir sind von dort mit dem Zug nach Gent, Brügge und an das Meer gefahren. Perfekt

Mooie ruime kamer, goed ontbijt, vriendelijke host en een minstens net zo'n vriendelijke assistent host (Sunny, de hond). Ook ideaal dat er vlak bij de B&B een treinstation is die je in enkele minuten in Brugge of Gent kan brengen. Wij willen zeker nog eens terug komen!

Zeer fijn verblijf. Mooie en ruime kamer met alle comfort. Heerlijk bed. Ontbijt was tiptop in orde. Gastheer heel vriendelijk en betrokken maar niet opdringerig. Ideaal voor wie wil fietsen in de omgeving en in alle rust wil slapen.

De tuin was gewoon prachtig en ideal om tot rust te komen & wat leuk dat de hond ons kwam vergezellen. We zijn beide enrme dierenvrienden.

Superlocatie

Hele vriendelijke gastvrije gastheer die alles heel netjes en verzorgd houdt. Hele propere en mooie verzorgde kamers met als surplus een zalige tuin om rustig in te lunchen of te relaxen samen met de lieve, vriendelijke en rustige hond des huizes. Er zijn vlakbij ook twee lekkere restaurantjes en een treinstation waardoor Gent of Brugge binnen handbereik liggen. Alleen maar troeven dus. Na dit verblijf zijn we helemaal relaxed.
