Relaxing stay at De Pinte

A very welcoming host made us feel at home right from the start. If anything was needed, we just had to ask. The large room with private bathroom, is on the 2nd floor and a guest lift available, making this B&B a good fit for us as maturing couple. Breakfast is delicious with the host serving delicious coffee, breads and various accompaniments, fresh eggs, homemade yoghurt and fresh fruit. We could take our time and relax. Ample car parking space in front of the house and near the entrance makes loading and unloading easy. Nice and quiet neighbourhood and property is in walking distance from shops, easy access routes to different routes.

We loved everything about B&B Willow Lodge! Especially the kind couple who took great care of us, with a lovely breakfast each morning, checking to make sure we had the right plans to get to Ghent and showing us the cute antique shop on property!

Nice peaceful location on walking distance from the train station to Gent. No car needed. Excellent! Very helpful and nice host and a very good bed! Zeer pleasant!

It's a very nice B&B. Two small things: we missed the tea cooker in the room and there was an unpleasant smell in our room. Not sure where the smell was coming from. But that's just nitpicking.

De verwelkoming door de gastvouw was zeer hartelijk. het ontbijt werd door haar verzorgd, mat een vers gekookt eitje of spiegelei. Het verblijf was smaakvol ingericht. De ligging was zeer goed als uitvalsbasis voor fietstochtjes of stadsbezoek aan Gent.

Die Hausherrin war außergewöhnlich freundlich und sehr umsichtig und hat uns ein sehr gutes Frühstück bereitet und deutsch gesprochen.

Zauberhaft

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend (sprechen französisch, niederländisch, deutsch, englisch). Das Frühstück war das Highlight eines jeden Tages - frisch und liebevoll zubereitet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Die zwei Gästezimmer befinden sich im Dachgeschoss (Klimaanlage vorhanden) und sind mit einem Fahrstuhl erreichbar. Alles tipptopp sauber. Das Bad großzügig. Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen Garten mit Terrasse und großen alten Bäumen. Ein Traum. Es gibt vor dem Haus einen Parkplatz, ansonsten an der Straße oder am Ende der Straße (am Bahnhof) einen kostenlosen großen Parkplatz. Die Lage ist perfekt, um mit der Bahn z.B. Gent (ca. 25 Minuten) zu erreichen. Der Bahnhof von De Pinte ist in 10 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Mit dem Rad ist hier sowieso alles erreichbar, da es ein perfektes Radwege-Netz gibt. Fahrräder konnten wir in einem Nebengebäude wettergeschützt abstellen. De Pinte ist überschaubar groß. Es gibt zwei gute Restaurants, zwei „Fritten-Buden“, Bäcker.

De dame des huizes was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze heeft een heerlijk ontbijt geregeld en was erg flexibel om aan onze wensen tegemoet te komen. We komen zeker een keer terug hier
