The location is centrally located between Bruges and Ghent, a 20 minute drive. It is a beautiful and peaceful. The room was very spacious and clean, with air conditioning. Breakfast was set up beautifully and there were plenty of options. Andy prepared us an delicious omelette.

I booked this as a last-minute stay to break up a journey. If I'd realised how nice the place was going to be I'd have abandoned my journey and stayed a few more days. It's about 5 minutes off the E40, but you'd never tell - the traffic noise isn't at all intrusive. Location is about 15 mins drive from the centre of Bruges, so ideal for exploring nearby without the hurly-burly of being in the city itself. Absolutely wonderful room, quiet location so I was able to sleep with the garden access door open to enjoy the coolness of the night. Yes, there's aircon in the rooms, but the breeze and cooler temperatures meant that it wasn't needed. The shower is just blissfull, wetroom arrangement with a rainfall style shower, which is really relaxing. Minibar fridge & 2 single beds in my room with plenty of space around them - the room is a really nice size, so that even with luggage in, it doesn't feel at all crowded. The beds are really comfortable with noticeably good quality bed linen, and duvets that feel just the right weight to send you to sleep almost immediately. Outside, the property is set in wonderful surroundings, with a large, soft, well-manicured lawn & some play equipment, small patio areas for the rooms, and an enclosed field which is home to deer, goats, chickens and a rather opinionated, but camera-shy, peacock. There's a large parking area which is secured at night too. Andy the host is fantastic, really friendly & helpful chap who goes out of his way to make sure your stay is amazing. 15/10, will be coming back!

When you have an idyll like this, there isn't anything to not like.

Host was really nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved having a ground floor room with a patio outside. The animals were very cute.

Nothing

This is a lovely property, with a very friendly, hospitable owner. The setting is rural, with animals on the property, yet is only a stone's throw from the main roads. It is well located for access to Ghent - we used the Park and Ride there. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed. The main lounge and dining room area has real character and is a lovely place to sit and relax with a drink from the extremely well-stocked honesty bar. We also enjoyed a very good breakfast here.

We really could not have improved upon this property. It has been refurbished fairly recently and is well looked after.
