Nothing, there was absolutely nothing to like about this place. We even arrived early and they showed us to our room regardless.

Lovely family hotel. Clean, comfortable and a really good value for money

The property was very clean and comfortable, located perfectly between Bruges and Ghent. The breakfast was delicious. The host was really kind and helpful. We were a family with 2 kids and this hotel was the best choice for us!

Access to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels, well looked-after

Very clean and comfortable room. Nice shower. Quieter than we expected (we were in a room further from the main road). Quiet, polite owner. Excellent breakfast! Well-located for access to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels.

Parking a bit tight, but ok because the hotel wasn't full when we were there. A bit difficult to access from the main road (busy, divided road). You can't cross straight into it (must du a U-turn further on), and you have to pay attention exiting (very busy road). We forgot to be precise about our arrival time, so waited a little.

Very great stay with friendly staff and wonderfull breakfast.

Breakfast was very good with a variety to choose from. Rooms were kept clean, beds and pillows were comfy. Staff accommodated for our needs and were very helpful.

Parking was not what I expected but we were able to work it out.

All in all good for visiting Bruges and Ghent.

Breakfast was good- the host kept an eye at all times and replenished as needed. Fresh fried and scrambled eggs. The family room was a good size and was cleaned everyday.

The curtains were quite short so the room stayed bright. Some longer curtains or blackout blinds would have been useful. Some new pillows would be a welcome addition.

One night stay between Brugge and Gent

Between Gent and Brugge the location is good. Along the main road you don’t hear any noise. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast ist plentiful and tasty.

Breakfast was a little slow and there was no coffee maker on the room. The room was a little dark for my taste.

Clean, cosy and kind

A lovely clean and cosy property that is a short walk from the town. Marcel was a gentleman, welcomed us to our rooms and was on hand if we needed him. He went out of his way to be of assistance during our stay and we really appreciated that. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and a great variety. We highly recommend and would stay again.

There are good and bad points! The hotel is very clean, rarely seen so good. Its location, a little remote if you don't have a vehicle. For parking there is space, but a little tight. The breakfast is ok. The bread (from the freezer) should be taken out well before the time. And why not some fresh bread.

The air conditioning doesn't work. Luckily, the outside temperature wasn't too high. The owner is moody, one day the other, but he's full of goodwill. We could almost give the hotel an 8.

A hassle free, pleasant and comfortable stay

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was helpful and willing to provide additional coffee cups as needed. Ample parking space. Idyllic place with places to walk around. The biggest plus point is that it is easily accessible to both Ghent and Bruges.

They had provided a hot water kettle in one of the rooms and would have been great if our second room also had it. Maybe he would have given if I had asked. So, its really not a big issue. Also, pls do mention in your hotel facilities that you provide a hot water kettle - it is a plus point for the amenities in your rooms.

Gem found on a rodside

A very pleasant and quiet hotel with a small restaurant run by a nice couple. Everywhere clean and everything in style. Very good value for money. Especially that the price includes a good breakfast.

great location for travellers & brekkie lovers

The location is really close to Brugge and Gent if you have a car. we booked the family room for 3 adults and it was really spacious. The host was an elderly gentleman who was so kind to wait for us in our late arrival and I have to mention the breakfast was really amazing, we had omelettes, pancakes, toasts, croissants and much more, if you are a foodie, it is a not to miss👍🏻

very comfortable rooms with compact bathrooms Plus air conditioning n fridge. Hats off to Marcel. He’s like a father figure running this hotel with so much passion. Location is great. it’s in the middle of Bruges n Gent. and in an hour you can reach Dunk Dunkirk.

Tranquil time between Ghent and Bruges

This small hotel was beautifully situated between Ghent and Bruges in farm country. The proprieter was very helpful in finding local restaurants; please note he speaks excellent Flemish, some English and a little French. Breakfast was excellent, catering to many tastes, and the beds are the comfiest we have had in a hotel yet.

The hotel, while well maintained, does need some updating. The decor was fine, but one bedroom smelled mouldy because of the bathroom: we solved this by leaving windows open. This hotel could only be reached by car which suited us fine. It was a bit difficult to find (GPS did not pick it up well) but we got there in the end.......
