Superb

Geert and his wife were perfect hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aalter, it’s a perfect place for exploring Ghent, Brugge and the surrounding area. It’s a quaint place, with comfortable and large rooms and bathroom and a fantastic looking garden. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and we appreciated the opportunity to check-in early.

Cosy place! Well worth a stay! Definite recommendation

Nice and cosy room, not too spacious though. Loved the atmosphere, the proper wood and wooden floorboards. Great hosts, good size breakfast, amazing shower 😄

Comfortable and quiet, with great breakfast, ideal for an occasional stay

Host was very kind, breakfast was excellent, room was spacious, and the whole place was very quiet. We slept very well

The place was not too clean. There was a bottle and some other stuff in the room (clearly something left behind, not intended for us), and there were dirty brushes in the toilet, full of hair. Despite being the cheapest room in that area of Belgium for that night, we still found it a bit overpriced.

Hadn't realised shared bathroom - that info hidden away in booking.com. Also hadn't realised booking.com would take the payment early, but that was probably my fault.

Okay to stay for a night, but price was a bit high for what was given.

Beds were ok, linen smelled good. Big bathroom with enough towels. Fresh Juice and a good croissant in the morning

Reception could have been better. (like a cup of tea or so, it was 9 in the eve), no watercooker in the room, just downstairs. Bathroom had to be shared, (with 3 men, a bit annoying as we had to wait for each other). The shower was passable. Breakfast was passable. But a basket per couple would have been better, so you know what you can take or have to share, and I didnt really care for what was offered for bread-spread. It was all to a minimum, then 95 euros for a night sleep is quite a bit of money.

Pleasantly welcomy couple

Absolutely everything, including authentic Belgian old house and a friendly and smiley owners of the house. Beautiful garden and birds singing outside. Well served breakfast by the owners themselves was very sweet. And super tasty patisserie just in front of the house. Highly recommended!

If it is a working day, might be a little noisy outside as the street is quite vibrant.

When I will go on my plan holiday I will definitely stay IN.

Really nice taste of nice people also breakfast was very nice. Nice garden f my kids. Furthermore, lots of toys for them... they didn't want to went to bed = because of toys area. If you really want have a nice quiet night with really nice (warm) breakfast. Also nice chat with the lovely couple the owners. Buy it.....

Goed voor enkele nachten te verblijven en ligt centraal van alles

Het ontbijt was heel goed, met veel om er van te eten. Ik drink geen koffie, maar er stond er wel klaar. Vergeten van te zeggen dat ik geen koffie drinkt. Maar er stond wel fruitsap erbij. Top

Eigenlijk in de badkamer, was de spiegel niet proper, met veel plekken erop en 1 lavabo was echt niet proper. Maar de douche was wel top.

Gastgeber mit großem Herz

Es sind die Begegnungen im Leben, die einem in Erinnerung bleiben! Vielen lieben Dank für eine wunderbare Zeit! Wir waren nur 3 Nächte da, durch die wunderbaren Gespräche mit den Gastgebern fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen und sie trugen dazu bei, dass unsere Zeit bei ihnen sehr entspannt war. Betten super bequem. Ja, es ist ein Gemeinschaftsbad, aber man muss auch bedenken, dass es ein B&B ist. Die Gastgeber waren stets diskret im Hintergrund und haben uns immer so viel Raum und Zeit gelassen wie wir gebraucht haben. Wirklich ohne Probleme! Frühstück reichhaltig, Kaffee guuut! Es war eine wunderbare Zeit bei euch!!!!

Nicht gefallen? Da gab es nichts. Ein schönes altes Haus, mit wunderbaren alten Dielen. Ein Haus mit Geschichte, genauso muss es sein! Und ein großer Garten!

ik (Stef) kon er tot rust komen, dat vind ik heel belangrijk (er verschijnt steeds anoniem wanneer ik feedback geef) lekker ontbijt mooie tuin (waar ik niet in geweest ben) gemotiveerde uitbaters geen probleem een aanrader

'k vind niet direct iets hoor 't is er écht ok plankenvloer en gemeenschappelijke badkamer (zijn helemaal ok hoor) maar andere gasten zouden er op moeten letten dat ze 's nachts zo min mogelijk "lawaai" maken

Rustig huiselijk verblijf om even terug op adem te komen

Het was een mooie ruime kamer (met goede internetverbinding :) ) Bij het ontbijt was er versgeperst fruitsap! Het was een rustig huisje met een gezellig tuintje.

De badkamer is apart (dus ook het toilet). Ik had geluk dat het net naast mijn kamer was en ik op dat moment alleen was, maar een badkamer delen is niet mijn favoriet.

Gute Lage, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Nähe zur Metro und zum Supermarkt, Tiefgaragenparkplatz für 10 Euro, vorsichtig einfahren, mein Kia hat vorne kurz aufgesetzt, super zuvorkommendes Personal

Geruch nach Kloake im Bad kaum auszuhalten, ist mir aber auch von anderen Unterkünften bekannt. Mir wurde sofort ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, was ich nicht in Anspruch genommen habe, weil es meines Ermessens das Problem nicht gelöst hätte. Die ganze Gegend um die Metrostation stank ebenfalls, ist meines Ermessens ein allgemeines Problem mit der Kanalisation vor Ort.
