The accommodation was perfectly acceptable as a base for our short weekend visit if 2 nights.

Very good breakfast with nice range of food including but not limited to fresh rolls, jams, cold meats/cheese, fresh fruit selection, yogurt, cornflakes and variety of teas. Coffee was available. Visiting our friends living in the village, Lomolen B and B was also a base from which to explore Belgium for our 2 night stay. Quiet and relaxed area. Our downstairs family room was clean and tidy, having bunk beds for two children and en-suite bathroom. There was a working tv in the room which we did not use. Good internet connection. Lomolen had also been booked by other locals living in the village for their friends to stay. Would have no problem returning.

Quiet place with a very friendly host

Nice hotel for disconnecting, very quiet place. In the kitchen there is a fridge with biers so if you are driving during the day you can still enjoy national beers. The room was big enough and we loved the bed, huge one!! On top of that, very very friendly host.

Not a lot to say but maybe location is a bit far from almost everything, you need a car. Pillow was not comfortable for me and there weren´t alternatives, apart from that, can´t complaint at all

Superb

We had a very nice and cozy stay at Kathleen’s B&B which is located in the rural area between Gent and Bruges. We spent the weekend in Gent, the way by car to the city centre takes ~20-25 mins. The room and all facilities were exceptionally clean, and the breakfasts mmm… Homemade bread, pancakes and jam, could you wish any more? Definitely recommended!

Many thanks to Kathleen and her husband for their hospitality and nice place to stay. No any complaints. Detailed guide for Brugge was helpful.

Bed was too soft for me and blanket is too warm for this season, but it just personal feeling.

Excellent place for a family or friends, high value for money !!

- Ideal for families and friends. - Nice and attentive hosts. - Very nice rooms and garden. Quiet environment, ideal to hace a good rest. - Large rooms, well decorated and very well equipped. - Great bathrooms, well equipped and with a well functioning high-pressure shower. - Good location if you are visiting Belgium. At 30 min drive to Gent and Brugge. - Place to park your car, at 5m from your rooms.

- I understand that being a B&B, you're not supposed to be using the kitchen if you haven't ordered the breakfast, but... if you need to make use of some cutlery or basic dishes (now I'm talking about a knife for your fruit, some cups with spoons to serve you a tea in the room), one kettle, etc., you supposedly have to pay for it, and at a extremely high rate. I'm not talking about cooking your meal in the kitchen, but at least the rooms should have some extra cups and glasses, a kettle, etc., as hotel rooms are usually equipped with. That's the only "black spot" I can mention. All the rest was excellent !!

Exceptional

Lomolen is in a lovely location, quiet with singing birds. The bedrooms have blackout shutters so you don't need to be woken by the early sunrise. The host was really friendly. Just a lovely stay overall

Heel goed! Hele lieve en fijne mensen!

De kamer was erg ruim en het ontbijt was heel goed. Ik vond het ook super dat ze het ontbijt eerder maakte zodat ik voldoende had gegeten voor mijn hyrox race! Ik heb het gered ☺️ heel fijn dat om daar ontspannen naartoe te kunnen ☺️

Fantasztikus hely egy fantasztikusan barátságos környezetben!

A reggeli nagyon finom volt, Kathleen figyelt rá, hogy mindig kerüljön az asztalra valami házi készítésű dolog: pékáru, sütemény, lekvár és saját kertjéből füge vagy paradicsom. Magát a szállást azoknak ajánlom, akik nem riadnak vissza egy kis autókázástól Brugge-től vagy Gent-től (30-40 perc), esetleg Dunkerque-től (60 perc) és távolabb a zsúfolt turistaközpontoktól, vidékies, családias és csendes környezetben szeretnének megszállni. Kathleen és férje nagyon kedves és segítőkész tualjdonosok, sokmindenben tudnak segíteni és mindent meg lehet velük beszélni.

Sajnos nincs klímaberendezés, a meleg és párás napokon pedig nagyon jó lenne!
