We loved the quirky decor of the house, and the excellent location. We much appreciated the quality of everything -- good matress on the bed, excellent duvet and pillows, lots of warm water, and a good shower room. Well equipped kitchen, and tea and coffee provided.
We had only a couple of small complaints, both easily rectifiable. The stairs are very steep, and there isn't a rail to hold on to until you are half way down, which was slightly alarming -- we are 77 and 85 years old respectively! Secondly, there were no shelves in the bathroom, so nowhere to put down one's spectacles or wristwatch or spongebag while washing or having a shower.

The house was a little cold on arrival but the owner advised us to leave the electric fire on all the time and we had no further issue after that.

Host was friendly and quick to respond to messages. Kitchen was small but really well stocked considering meaning I was able to cook during my stay. Really stylish home (though the work wasn't all neatly finished). Excellent location. Great that pets are allowed.
Downstairs was FREEZING COLD. I know that terraced houses are hard to heat, especially in winter BUT there was such a huge draft coming from the front door that it did feel like I was actually outside when I was downstairs. A heavy curtain over the door would surely help. Electric heating didn't seem powerful enough to counteract the draft, sadly. Although it looked cool, the living room was not a comfortable or cosy place to spend time. Aside from the cold, there is no sofa, only tub chairs which aren't super relaxing, and the lack of lighting, although ambient, meant it was too dark to even read in. TV upstairs and downstairs which I don't normally bother with, but both seemed to have minimal channels/not be well tuned. I was also disappointed to see so much alcohol in the house (if I had read other reviews properly I might have realised) but it would be good if the host could warn people any maybe ask if they would like it removed before their stay.
