Still my favorite motel!

We love the staff, their quick responses to anything you need, knowledge and familiarity with the area overall great hospitality. Been coming for decades because of location, awesome pool and relaxed atmosphere. Love the rooms. We love how pet friendly they are.

This was the first year (over decades of coming to Riviera) that the landscaping looked pretty bad/unkempt. Things were really in need of maintenance around the pool and property. Also cleaning crew were a thumbs down this time.

The carpeting is very dirty, just really needs deep rug shampooing/bathroom floor was the same/ just needs to be scrubbed. Bathtub also needs to be scrubbed No coffee pot

Great place to stay if you don’t needof frills and you just need a comfortable place to lay your head at night. The room

The location was excellent! We were able to walk to everything that we wanted to do. Great restaurant across the street. Pool was very nice and super clean. The room was very clean as well. It is bare bones, but we didn’t eat much. The only thing that we did not have was a coffee maker, which was disappointing and we had to drive to Sheetz for coffee.

Nostalgia combined with a great location equal the perfect spot for a trip to Lake Erie.

Perfect location for enjoying Lake Erie beach and Waldamere. Jumping in the pool after a hot day in the sun was a plus. Had a great time and dinner at the Oasis Tiki Bar and restaurant across the street.

We didn’t stay. Was too dirty. We were given a refund of our money and went elsewhere. Booking.com should think twice

Nothing. It didn’t look like this photo. There was trash and dirt all around. Filthy accommodations. The best thing was that they didn’t give us an argument about refunding our money. We went elsewhere. I feel bad about writing such a negative review. I am not usually a negative person.

It was very dirty looking from the outside. The room itself was the worst I have ever seen. The room size barely accommodated a queen-size bed. The very small bathroom had the toilet and shower. The sink was outside the bathroom, in the room. The carpet was filthy, I couldn’t even think of walking barefoot on it!

The mattress was not comfortable, It sagged into the middle. No heat in bathroom. Room was cold when heat turned off and hot when it was on.
