Pretty...but vacant

Lovely smell of Indian curry entering the lobby area! The place is cute and nicely decorated. Their English is poor except for the daughter, but they did replace the soiled towels left in my room (stored on a rack near the floor, under the sink, where I guess things spilled on them) and gave me a bottle of water for no charge. The motel is truly non-smoking, which is pleasant--no lingering smell of old, ingrained smoke.

The shower is narrow and equipped with a very flimsy filmy curtain. While this looks nice, the curtain keeps blowing against your body as you shower. How many people have used that shower since the last time the curtain was laundered? Not very sanitary. They need a curved shower curtain bar to pull the curtain a little further out away from the occupant. I believe there were no other guests that night but the Indian couple in the next room were quite loud. I did not like that I was asked to insert my credit card for "incidentals" but of course they could not explain what they meant by that.

We did not end up staying at the hotel for the night.

We are used to camping and would not consider our standards very high to be comfortable. The women at the desk was very sweet but that was the end of what we liked.

The room has a dirty ashtray on the windowsill right outside the door. The room smelled, and the bathroom simply was old enough that it was just not a room I would feel comfortable in.

Very clean, the pool was beautiful and very nice.

The cable and TV didn’t work ask front desk for help they did try to come fix it, but had no idea how! And then offered no discount for not having anyway to watch anything

Super clean room! Cute area. Far enough off the highway to be somewhat quiet.

The front sidewalk is not appealing. The condition of it needs a little bit of work and perhaps there could be a different smoking area? The cigarette smoke from another visitor came right into my room.

Good place to stay for birding at Presque Isle State Park.

Comfortable, well-located near Presque Isle State Park, friendly efficient staff, clean, quiet, safe, basic lodging.

Exterior needs some touching up- not a big deal. Like other places, the room rates are too high on a weekend in July. If we come back it will be in the off season. Had to drive to find something to eat.

It was a good location for Waldameer; the pool was nice. Overall it was a good place to stay.

The waffle mix and maker was very nice. Overall very nice light breakfast. Would have liked the juices to be cold or ice available; otherwise good.

The room was fine and overall clean; the one bed the top blanket and sheet had dirt? A leaf, on it. The air conditioner worked great but was extremely noisy and was making a banging sound on off through the night.

Great stay for the price. Close to Presque Isle.

The pool was very clean. The city experienced a power outage for 12 hours while we were there. The management kept us informed about restoral times, offered us drinks and ice. They even kept the pool open later. Free breakfast in the morning was nice.

I wish our room had night stands. The bed was a little uncomfortable. Wish they had firm mattresses on platform type bed.

Not for light sleepers.

Beds are good. Sturdy enough. Friendly staff. The location of the motel is quite convenient near a few larger highways.

We couldn't get a wink of sleep because of the noisy air conditioner and fridge. My wife usually sleeps through anything, but not this time — that says it all. We had tot turn off the A/C and then the room gets hot quite quickly. The room was poorly soundproofed in general — we could hear people talking in the room next to ours. Breakfast room was very minimalistic.

Day one they didn’t have breakfast because they didn’t have enough guests. I get that but wish I’d known as I would have picked up a banana and yogurt for morning. Second day they had the breakfast but it wasn’t good. Also, no decaf coffee.

A good stay, I rested well. It was easy to find and easy to leave in the morning. I would return.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was spare. There was no bathtub. There was no breakfast being served in the morning.

I would have liked it if there had been breakfast. Also, the room could have used some sort of rug in it, as there was nothing but cold, bare floor.

This hotel is fine for the money but not a place where you feel welcome.

No breakfast of any kind is offered even though it was stated in the overview that there was something of a continental breakfast offered in the office. For some reason we were given a room with the only broken screen door and broken outdoor light fixture in the place and parking lot looked empty.. curious. Anyway, the screen door rattled in the wind all night. We were too busy and tired to bring this to the attention of the manager.

Nice little place! Little old school, little modern. Comfy beds, no bathtub, just a shower. Older furniture, but necessities are all new.

I like having an exterior door. The road noise was a bit much, but that's about everywhere nowadays.

The room was dated, but nice and clean. I had to move a bed a slight bit to be able to open the closet fully, no big deal.

The hot water took a good while to come on. The bathroom could use a shelf for toiletries.
