Comfort Inn, Erie - Near Presque Isle

Breakfast was good. Got a little crowded so they got behind in keeping up with getting food/drinks out

Looking a little old and tired. Carpet can be redone, especially in the main lobby and halls. TV way to small for room and outdated.

Breakfast choices could be better/ more healthy. Fruit was overripe and we would have enjoyed fresh fruit. The pancake syrup seemed to have a sour taste. We are vegetarian so the sausage gravy and breakfast meats do not work for us. May we suggest boiled eggs, string cheese, oatmeal?

Breakfast was good. Typical continental foods. Pool was very clean and heated.

People were sitting too long at tables in breakfast area not eating drinking coffee. My family wasn’t able to eat at tables had to take food to our room.

The pool was NOT heated.

This hotel was the best. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom was nice and clean. they had shampoo and conditioner in the shower and body lotion by the sink.

The only thing we didn't get to do was visit the pool. Seemed like every time we wanted to use it, it was busy. But it didn't interfere with anything.

location was good, but everything else was bad

came with family, 3 rooms total, all 1st floor. One family member noticed the window was able to be open even though they had a label stating it was locked. Other family member checked there window and noticed the same thing. upon telling management, (Caucasian lady w/ short dark hair with a tattoo on her hand), she stated she would notify maintenance. Family member ask for maintenance to not go in until they returned due to belongings being in the room. They still went in. upon them returning, front desk stated one room someone was smoking in because they seen ashes in the bathroom. mind you that same person was smoking out front that was in the room. Room did not smell like smoke, and why would you be in the bathroom when the window is straight in front of you? we tried talking to them, asking questions like why would you go in after we ask you not to until they returned, why were you in the bathroom anyway and why the windows were even able to be opened. all valid questions, front desk got flustered and called the police stating we wouldn't leave. Police came, manager kept the same attitude with them and wouldn't even give her name, which shows she was up to something. pretty much agreed with us, and we contacted corporate who also noticed all the red flags management and maintenance did. I believe the people at the front desk had some type of plan to sneak in the windows and take things while people were gone, because again, why would the label state they were locked? and then when brought up, why get an attitude? I hate to pull the race card, but all signs pointed that way as well. But what did help was we are well educated adults who did not snap out as they wanted us to do. I've never heard of a window opening in any hotel let alone a first floor one. I will never stay here again and will remind everyone about this. All involved personnel at that hotel looked to be pill poppers.

The breakfasts and the pool

The bed was too firm, pillows too soft and TV was small.

It was quiet

The bed was super comfortable, especially the comforter.

WiFi was super weak and continually disconnected. It’s also kind of a dead zone for cellular use. The pool is incredibly small. Overall it’s a decent hotel but the price point was wayyyyyyy over the top for this hotel. It ended up with fees and tax being almost $300 for one night. For that price I just expected better.

That we had to go down and get extra towels and pillows. The front desk would not bring them up. Also our room was near the elevators and ice machine which could get noisy.

Very convenient to Presque Isle Park. The rooms were nice and we did not use the pool but it looked clean and safe.

Room was humid but cool.

It was simply perfect in every single aspect❤️

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Room was a great size.

The staff was wonderful. Pleasant, professional, accommodating. Wish they worked with me. Our room was great. Comfy sheets and bed. Bathroom was spotless. Pool was great. Clean, plenty of chairs, tables, and loungers.

As our room had a side view of the busy road outside, a room-darkening drape would have been helpful.

It was very clean and modern.

The customer service was awful and so was the breakfast.

Very dated can use some updates for the price that's charged

Toilet constantly running,has 4 pillows only 2 were covered just to name a few things.

Outside needs help,, landscaping is awful and when you enter the hotel the pavement is in terrible shape

I love the hotel! This was our 2nd stay there. We love the pool and the breakfast is sooooo good!

The pillows aren't my cup of tea but that's just a personal preference.

Not a whole lot

I asked to hear from the property to see if I could check in at noon and never did then when I got there I had to wait 2 hours before checking and was told they didn't know what I was talking about asking about early check in then they gave me room keys to a room with 1 bed and I needed 2 but at that point I figured whatever I was tired and my kids wanted a nap then 10 minutes there another guest came through my door while I was getting dressed as they gave the same room to someone else so I had to deal with that awkward thing then finally got to my regular room which everything was OK except 1 stain on the pillow case but I didn't care about that everything seemed good until breakfast they had juice and when I went to get it it sprayed all over my arms and shirt I had just put on for the day so I took my food no drink back to my room and got changed again and supply myself and kids with our water we had packed which I didn't care but it was supposed to be part of the stay free breakfast and all the staff was friendly just seemed unorganized and then slammed it on the heat

I liked that it provided a roof over my head for 14 hours

Great location to Presque Isle and Waldameer Park. Staff was very helpful. The pool area was small but clean. Our room was clean. Breakfast was included.

The breakfast area could use a little help. The juice machine which offered 5 juices only had one that worked. Only one fresh fruit to pick from. They ran out of yogurt.

The hair dryer didn’t work in our room. The issue box was empty but had two tissues sticking out of the top of it. The elevator certificate was expired. Staff weren’t rude but also not friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast was good. It was in a good location to where we wanted to go. The rooms were clean. Looks like they had a nice heated pool but it was raining so we didn’t get to go out and use it.

The outside landscaping could use a little more care. The elevator was broke while we were there so we had to use the stairs but they were working on it while we were there. And they didn’t have any soap in the bathroom. You had to provide your own.

Close to presquisle park

At first the room appeared clean. Then when it was time to turn down the beds , both queen beds had obvious pubic hairs present , stains and a dead bug...the front office clerk was not helpful when I told and showed him the pictures of the hairs and stains, he told me he would give me new sheets and give me the managers information. When he came back with the sheets he states he did not have any information about the manager?...I should of known I was not going to get any help due to the fact that when we went to the front desk there was a couple in front of us with valid complaints about bed bugs and plumbing and they were dismissed also. I have reached out the hotel and booking.com I am hoping to hear something back.

The pool is now heated. Light housekeeping in the rooms daily has resumed. The manager helped resolve issues.

The price was different than what was expected and a long discussion ensued. We resorted to booking.com to get the price where we expected. The toilet was plugged. The bathroom and room were not completely clean (i,e, hair in the tub, stirrer on the floor, dust, sink didn't drain well, adjoining room tub control completely unscrewed & hanging loose, mirrors all spotted, trip hazard between doors, both heat/cooling units were literally apart at the bottom.) Feels like the place is falling apart. Mattresses hard, uncomfortable.

Didn’t even stay the night left right when we got there. I was so uncomfortable there was big yellow stains on the bed the tub was yellow had to Go to A different hotel

When the staff is good everything else is OK. Here the staff was past good. Made you glad you booked it.

My eye sight is not the best so I wish th TV was bigger.

Hard to locate since my reservation said Sure Fit Best Western but the sign outside said comfort Inn.
