Baltic Dockside Apartment, Free Parking

Location, distance to city centre and m and s bank arena

Owner was not very responsive, sent a message regarding boiler and how to get heating on and they never replied, sent a message about a leak in the kitchen and they never replied. Bathroom only has a shower head connected to taps, and not a shower as such , was difficult to get temperature correct and there was hardly any power to the water. Lighting in the apt itself could be better, only 2 lamps and an overhead tracking light that had a few bulbs needing replaced. On the Cooker the imprint for oven/grill icons has been rubbed off and have to fiddle about with it to see what one is what. Had trouble getting out the dedicated car parking space as someone had parked in front of us blocking us in, had to call on buzzers of other apts to find out who's car it was. Not ideal if your looking to get away quickly.

Comfortable and fully equipped

Super clean, nearby to plenty of conveinence stores aswell as cool places like ArCains (arcade) and Jacaranda Baltic music venue! Would 100000% stay again!

A few of the lights appeared not to work and the ovens numbers werent there so it was hard to know what id set it to

Free parking and close to the city centre. Apartment was modern and clean. Local area was quiet and we slept really well.

We had to work out how to switch the boiler on to get hot water. Worked fine once the boiler was on.

There wasnt much not to like , great location close to all amenities.

Not got anything to say was an area we didn't like it was amazing!

The location and the facilities were fantastic. Very clean! Communication with the host was great on the day of checking in.

I think due to the mattress not being a deep one/firmer one like we are used to it wasn't the comfiest but fine for a short break

The bed was not comfortable. Sagged in the middle. Squeaky floor in bedroom. Didn’t like that it was on the 3rd floor. If we had known, we would not have booked it.

I didn't understand that the instructions to collect the keys from a local shop were in a direct message within the app. Once resolved with the help of the host, all was good.

Location was excellent for the sites we wanted to visit. Free parking for the car was handy. Nice spacious apartment with good views. The facilities the apartment had were very good and all nice and clean.

The double bed needs a new mattress as you rolled together in the middle. It was not at all comfortable. Spoilt our sleep. A downside to our stay.

Fantastic location, apartment is very well equipped, bed was comfortable meaning that we slept very well.

Cleanliness could have been better (lots of cobwebs, especially on windows), main door into the block was broken and therefore not secure, sofa is extremely uncomfortable.

A really well located apartment well decorated and equipped. ONe of the best apartments I've booked in the last few years and certainly the best in Liverpool.

Poor communication. The instructions for access tell you the door code for access to the building but only the number and don't mention an additional key you need to press after the numbers. The instructions then say you need to collect the individual apartment key from a shop "round the corner" Well "round the corner is a mile away - round the corner if you're in a car but not if you're walking and certainly not if you're disabled and were dropped off by a taxi. This is also when you find out that the apartment is on the top floor with no lift - not what you need to find out at the last minute if disabled. It should mention that it's on the top floor with no lift in the description and you should be given details of the key collection (and drop off) the day before.

Plenty of room and a good location near the the main attractions.

1st off when we got there, getting the key from a shop a 20 mins walk away isn't just round the corner. The road was closed making the directions wrong. In the property, lights weren't working in the main room and a bulb was blown in the bedroom, despite these faults having been mentioned previously. The dishwasher didn't work. No storage for underwear, and the shower was dreadful. Other than that, fantastic.

I do not have a car, so I had to walk 16 minutes between the flat and the shop to collect the keys.

The location was brilliant, a 15/20 minute walk from anything you need. Clean, simply decor perfect for a short stay away/work trip.

I couldn't figure out how to turn the oven on as dials had been worn away. Couldn't find instructions on how to use. It would be good to have some more locks/better quality lock on the door for safety purposes.

Super location with a lovely promenade walk to Albert dock which took around 15 minutes.

The bed and sofa bed had soft mattresses which would not be our choice.

Great location, great views, and lovely neighbours.

Showers a bit fiddly but got there in the end.

The location and parking were okay.

I was initially told I could check in from 2pm, on the day I found out that I couldn't check in until 3pm. The check in instructions said the keys would be collected from around the corner, which turned out to be a 15 minute walk. When I entered the property I found that 3 of the hobs had been left on, which could have caused injury. I went out for dinner, came back, realised that only a few of the lights in the kitchen/living room were working, then i stood in a puddle of water which had started pooling from the washing machine (which we hadn't used). The flat was freezing, there were no explanations of how to work the thermostats etc. Tried to chill out and watch Netflix, only to discover that neither the living room TV or the bedroom TV had strong enough WiFi signal to stream. So it was a freezing cold night on a lumpy bed that felt like it was from the 80s in an extremely dustry bedroom, there was dust and someone elses's hair on both of the bedside tables. I messaged the host to let them know about the issues I had during my stay and to confirm where to leave the keys as i was told to leave them in "the key-nest"; there was no "key-nest", I collected them from a shop! The host never responded to me which is just rude. A simple apology and clarification would have been nice considering the money I paid for a disappointing stay in a sub-par flat, which may look the part in pictures but fails to live up to expectation on arrival. It was quite the oversight to not even put handsoap in the bathroom!

Walking to the Mersey river was lovely. Closer proximity to a lot of activity, restaurants, shops, tours, etc. large space with excellent amenities for a longer stay and if you wanted to prepare a meal.

Stairs. A lift would Be nice with our heavy bags, but the walk up was worth it.

The bed mattress is not comfortable can feel the springs sticking into you.

Amount of space, free parking, bathroom.

The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, some of the plates were dirty. I also had to go and get the keys from a shop “down the corner” which was 5 minutes drive there and 5 back and the next morning had to drop them back at the same place.

Loved the property has everything you need.

Moor details the temperature numbers have faded from the oven, and when collecting the keys would have benefit giving the name of the convince store in correspondence.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location overlooking water sports centre top class spotlessly clean perfect will definitely be back in future
