Could have been better, but poorly managed.

Good location if you have a car, and free parking. There were adequate facilities, such as electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, and two mobile radiator heaters

Potentially, could have been great, but cost-cutting on facilities and lack of care made it a bad experience. Examples: Two wall-mounted heaters did not work. The pillows in one of the bedrooms - which did not have a working wall-mounted heater - stank and the quilt and sheets were damp. The bedroom we used did not have those issues, but the double bed was extremely bouncy and gave little to no support, which meant we did not sleep well for the duration of our stay. The vertical blinds in the bedrooms and living room do not overlap sufficiently, so there is no privacy. The toilet seat was not aligned properly, and there was mold in the shower. The frying pan was old, rusty and scratched, and one of the two saucepans had been burnt by a previous occupant, so we only use one saucepan and the oven for all of our cooking. I complained to the manager - the business that operates several properties - but NOTHING was done about these issues. Regarding the fact two wall-mounted heaters do not work, I was sent a message that the two mobile radiators do work and that I could get help locating them if I could not find them. Was this a snide remark, or a genuine attempt to be helpful? The local property manager was in too much of a hurry to make sure everything worked (e.g. heaters did not work) and was clean (cookware was old and dirty, bedding damp and smelly). Only when pressured to talk us through how to operate the various appliances did she do so, and said full instructions were given in an online manual. However, the online manual just lists some features, but does not give instructions. The are no external lights where the cars are parked - a muddy track under a row of large trees, and it was pitch black. Without using the light on my cellphone it would have been dangerous. This could have been a very nice property for a short stay, but for the issues I've already described, I would not recommend staying here unless those issues are sorted.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great staff and location, though the shower could use some improvement.

The property is in a great location, with walkable access to most of the essentials you might need. The distance to the city centre is reasonable, and the Uber fare was more affordable than I expected. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly, hospitable, and responsive whenever we needed assistance. I also loved the bed, it was perfectly soft and comfortable.

However, the shower temperature was quite inconsistent, which made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful shower. It fluctuated a bit too much, and it wasn’t due to misuse, as I know how to operate it properly

Overall, good value for money

Reasonably priced situated not too far from Waterloo Merseyrail station giving good access to Liverpool city centre and to Southport. Roomy with all the appliances required.

Some of the blinds need attention as starting to curl so don’t fully meet up when closed. Felt slightly uncomfortable in a downstairs front bedroom even though property is off the road.

Insecurity,None existent customer service,( was burgled but they didn’t care ),Large rat got into accommodation,Read all my messages to property and you will see how poor it was,I will be claiming a refund as my daughter in-law was afraid to sleep there unless new locks fitted.
