Bedsheets were clean and toilet and kitchen were clean and good quality

To begin with we had to pay a £100 deposit which is greater than what we're paying for... Doesn't make sense per normal selling standard although at least U do get it back, second of all , had a very unpleasant experience with the phone number provided on the booking, to be quite honest we checked in later than written but we figured this wouldn't be a problem as we were provided the NEW code by the owner and as such thought we would be okay to arrive at whatever time we liked after the check in time however the code we received was wrong and did not work leaving us stranded in the middle of the night, due to this we decided to follow through with what was recommended and call the owner of the booking and try to seek assistance in entering the property, instead of providing the old code once we told him the box wasn't working he then proceeded to aggressively accuse us of tampering the lockbox,told us it wasn't his property or problem and that we should go through booking.com to solve this - we strongly refused this as we needed a place to stay and had payed for it and my partner took the phone off me to retaliate, he proceeded to cuss at her and admittedly she returned the same Tone and then once she told him to calm down so we could resolve the situation he then proceeded to scream even more and tell her to calm down and said she didn't even book the property and should return the phone back to me. This bizarre escalation was only sorted after 15 min of back and forth in which he refused to accept responsibility for HIS property and inability to send the correct codes to get in.in terms of the actual property, upon entering it was apparent that someone had recently smoked in the property, can't fault the room for it's general cleanliness although it definitely could've been better.

EVERYTHING. DIRTY DISGUSTING VILE ACCOMMODATION. AVOID THIS PROPERTY LIKE THE PLAGUE. FRIDGE PLACED IN BEDROOM - MOULDY INSIDE AND STINKING. NO FACILITIES AS STATED ON BOOKING PAGE, NO KETTLE, NO CUPS, NO TV. WALLPAPER PEELING OFF THE WALLS. ABSOLUTELY RANK AND A TOTAL RIP OFF

Apartment easily accessible by bus from the city center and cheap. The host is quite responsive.

The building has maintenance problems and there is a musty smell. The TV doesn't work, the bed is worn out, and there is no dish soap in the kitchen.

As soon as you walk into the building you get hit with a strong smell of damp. Old bathroom shower screen is in the toilet. Overall cleanliness the apartment could do with being raised. We had another stay booked at this apartment but cancelled and booked another hotel else where.
