A pleasant quiet place to spend a few nights, that has been obviously cared for by it's owner.

Quiet, peaceful place with a nice decor and general feeling. Plenty of facilities and general ease of use of the place.

Some of the floor coverings on the stairs and in the bathroom were loose on smooth tile which rendered them a bit slippy at times.

The cottage was beautiful! Really comfy beds and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner Clair was so kind and lovely, even helping us get our car down the drive when we struggled! We would definitely come and stay again.

Lovely cute little cottage clean tidy and host communicated well

Just a couple of very small things. Lovely touch was the cold drinks and milk but would have loved a small amount of tea and coffee to use with the milk! Really missed my cuppa first thing in the morning. Mirror in the bathroom could be a little higher was difficult to use the sink in the bathroom with it being close to your head.

Honestly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Was a bit unsure about the bunk beds but mu son was very excited. Was so cozy and comfy. The decor was lovely. We had everything we needed and more. Clare was happy to answer any questions we had.brilliant local find!

Blissful Wirral Break

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Coachmans Cottage. As soon as we arrived we felt at home and Clair has put so much thought and care into this gorgeous place, it really is a gem. The beds are really comfortable and we slept like tops. The shower was excellent too. The whole place feels homely and has a lovely energy. The Cottage is in a peaceful location and there is an electric gate to the driveway, and a second electric gate to the garden and accommodation. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and sitting outside in the lovely garden, as did our Frenchie Alfie. The location is great for visiting Port Sunlight and the Rock Ferry beach and promenade. We ate at the dog friendly Refreshment Rooms a couple of times as it is right by the waterfront and had a lovely stroll afterwards looking across at Liverpool. Clair is an exceptional host and such a lovely person. We will definitely be staying here again.

We didnt stay we had to find alternative accommodation at very short notice

The breakfast was non existant very dissappointing. It was clean enough and tidy just not what we expected.

We thought it was a guest house but instead had bunk beds with tiny holes to get into the bed not for adults very closterphobic more like for children. Not what was advertised. Very poor and dissappointing. Nothing near it either to get supplies we had to find somewhere else at a cost we could have done without. Would like a refund.

Comfortable and great location

The facilities and style of the property are exceptional. Our dog loved the garden and his tail was wagging the whole time. Beds were soft and comfortable. Location was ideal as it is a short walk to the train station and there was also a park and ride close by too. There was also on site secure parking.

Amazing, me, my husband and 2 children aged 15 & 7, this was our 2nd time here and already planning on booking again

So beautiful, clean and fresh, the beds are so comfy, games to play with the kids, water, pop and milk in the fridge. Tea , coffee and sugar provided. The shower was amazing. We had the best stay and are booking again for our 3rd visit. Thankyou x

Outstanding decor and features for the size of property - best night's sleep I had all week.

Clair's property is one of the nicest holiday rentals we've ever stayed at. The location was excellent for our needs and the internal decor was outstanding. The thought and detail that she has put into the design of the property - especially the beautiful kitchen area - isn't something you see every day. This was our last stop on an eight-day road trip that took in Wales and Cornwall. I honestly had the best night's sleep at Clair's property. She is an excellent host and we would have no hesitation in returning. Highly recommended.

What a gem! We were met by Claire who went out of her way to help us settle in and made us very welcome. This little cottage is beautifully decorated. Many reviews mention the beds but we found they were both doubles and incredibly comfy We were a group of three adults, Claire provided an extra bed and the 3 of us slept very well It is off the beaten track, no noise at night, yet it’s within walking distance of Rock Ferry train station (Merseyrail) which can take you straight to Liverpool, Chester or to Hamilton Square if you wanted to use the Mersey Ferry. It was also an excellent place for our two little dogs

I hadn’t quite clocked that the beds were sort of bunk beds / capsule beds, so it was quite tricky for my partner and I to navigate when one of us needed to get out of bed in the middle of the night! 😄 but I still ended up sleeping really well!

Wonderful Gem - so glad we found this place

This is a gem of a find - it was like stepping into my fav store ‘home Sense’ and finding everything you would love in your home. Attention to detail was superb, such pretty and clever touches everywhere, Stayed with my 81 year old mum and we had a giggle about the bunk bed configuration but wow what a comfy night! The host was very good with communication making sure we had everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate in coming back here again in the future

Though we didn't meet Clair, her message was clear in how to get into the accommodation and where to find the keys. Very cute, cosy and clean place. It was lovely that there was milk and drinks in the fridge. In addition, I have to commend Clair for stepping up in finding something that I forgot at the cottage. She gave to a friend, which I will collect in my next visit in the UK.

The beds! Not suitable for 4 x adults. Built in bunk beds. If they were swopped for 1 x lovely king size bed it would be a 10/10 cottage.

There was nothing not to like, it was a beautiful home from home, with private gardens with electric gate to stop the furbabies from escaping. Clair was kind and made sure our stay was pleasant.

Absolutely lovely

Loved the decor, especially the Liverpool FC themed bedroom area! The beds were comfortable, and it was great to be able to watch netflix and Sky rather than the usual free view you get in hotels. The whole place had a warm and cosy feeling to it.
