Such a beautiful cottage - was almost like a show home with how perfect it looks - so many little details with the decor / accessories, yet at the same time combining a cosy real home feel. Loved the quirkiness. Everything was spotless too. Great value for money to stay in this little hidden gem - central for exploring all the Wirral has to offer but also only a short drive to Liverpool too (very handy for the Ferry terminal for those who don’t drive). No dining table, however serving trays and crockery / kitchen utensils were all available and our family of 4 loved using them to have little meal time picnics on the cosy rug in-front of the fire / tv - which added to the fun / novelty of our trip. Clair the host is so lovely and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.

The design of the bunk beds although visually gorgeous, is a bit awkward for adults to get in and out of as they are fully enclosed, especially difficult if the person on the inside was to need the toilet / to get up during the night, HOWEVER once inside the bed, it is deceptively very spacious and comfortable with lots of pillow options and a luxurious duvet.

Everything was spot and the added bonus of a Sunday lunch from Claire was amazing.

Great location for exploring Liverpool if you don’t want to stay in the city centre, via train from Rock Ferry. Helpful staff and very clean.

Would be a little too small if staying with a family with older children for more than a few nights.
