Fantastic weekend

Had everything you need for a perfect weekend. Views, cafe near by for breakfast, pod was really well done, felt like I was on the winner of four in the bed. Jane was also a star came over to say hi on arrival and goodbye when we left.

Nothing, drive did take 3 hours from Glasgow but really worth it!!!

Very cosy and comfortable accommodation in a fantastic location. Property is very well equipped for such a compact facility. The pod was immaculate when we arrived and the owner had kindly left us fresh milk, tea, coffee and biscuits for our arrival

A Hidden Gem

Jane, the owner, met me on arrival and explained how everything worked, also recommending some activities and amenities in the local area. After that, she checked in a couple of times by messaging to see if I had everything I needed, without being intrusive. The Skye Pod is in a beautiful location, with wildlife on the doorstep ( I saw roe deer and red squirrels nearby). The pod is very well designed to maximise the use of space and very well equipped, including some outdoor space. A very comfortable king-size bed ensured a good nights sleep and the kitchen had everything needed. There are some lovely woodland walks nearby which are clearly popular with local people and Skye of Curr is in a good central location for visiting further afield, including Cairngorm, Grantown-on-Spey and Loch Garten RSPB Centre. The Speyside Centre is a 10 minute walk - this is a garden centre with a popular cafe serving excellent breakfasts and lunches.

2 night pod stay

Jane (owner) was very friendly without interupting our stay, she met us when we arrived plus just before we left and apart from that we never really heard from her at all. The links/attachments that she sent via WhatsApp before we arrived were very informative and thorough. The facilities were clean and tidy whilst also being spacious and had all required amenities. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to use any of the ample seating/tables outside. Bed was huge plus very comfortable. Sofa in living room was comfortable and allowed us to look out over the fields. The breakfast bar allowed 2 people plenty of room to enjoy breakfast/coffees with plenty of space. Location is perfect if you want to explore all of the outdoor activities that Aviemore and surrounding area has in abundance. Directions to the accommodation was clear and concise plus was found on Google maps. There was suitable parking for several cars within the carpark at the premises.

Cosy, comfortable and great location for exploring

Great communication from our host beforehand as the weather forecast was very mixed. We were met on arrival and felt very welcome. The pod is very comfortable and cosy, with everything you could need. My partner was poorly on the day we were due to leave and our host was super helpful, which was very much appreciated. It's in a great location for exploring the area, easy to find and has on site parking. We'll definitely stay again.

It would be great to stay in the spring/summer months to take advantage of the outdoor seating and lovely views.

Relaxing comfy enjoyable stay.

The pod was larger than expected and very comfortable, our host Jane could not do enough for us including getting us checked in earlier, making sure everything was to our satisfaction and even giving my partner a book from her collection that was in the pod.

There is nothing you won't like about staying here.

I was made very welcome on arrival and during my stay. The Skye Pod was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location was excellent for my exploration of this beautiful area of Scotland

We loved how big it was, so much space. We've stayed in a few pods before and they've been quite cramped, but this one is so much bigger with ample room. Jane has thought of everything and she was very helpful with information on the area. The pod was spotless, the bed was so comfy, everything is provided inc tea, coffee, sugar with added milk in the fridge and biscuits which is a lovely touch. We would highly recommend the pod and we can't wait to go back. Jane is a fab host and very friendly and welcoming.

Luxe pod in de natuur

Warm ontvangst door Jane. Comfortabel bed zeker groot voor een pod. Badkamer met douche en een keuken met twee kookplaatjes, magnetron en airfryer. Tv met goed ontvangst. Mooi uitzicht op een weide en vlakbij Spey center luxe tuincentrum met cadeau artikelen, tuinmaterialen en restaurants.

Ein super geräumiges Tiny Home mitten in der Natur gelegen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Super freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Obwohl der Pod unmittelbar neben dem Haus der Gastgeberin steht, gibt es ausreichend Privatsphäre.
