Cozy stay on our way through the highlands
Wonderful farm experience, so fun with all the horses and donkeys around. Famous nearby trail for a lovely evening stroll and close to a castle ruin. Breakfast included some free range eggs, milk, and butter. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Not what I expected for the money!
Unfortunately I didn’t realise the pods where stuck right behind a house then a barn! I don’t like they were next to each other and I assumed we would be in fields or open country side, not a fenced off yard.

Disappointing cleanliness despite nice pod and thoughtful extras
The pod itself is modern, well-equipped and had some thoughtful touches such as bread, butter, eggs and Christmas decorations. On the surface, it has good potential. Good location.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the accommodation significantly let the experience down. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable amount of pet fur and dust throughout the pod. On the floors, in the corners, on skirting boards, heaters, furniture, the sofa, blankets, and even the bedding. The pillows and duvet had visible fur, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There was also mould present at the bottom of the entrance door. A proper deep clean, especially if pets are allowed, is urgently needed. Wiping surfaces is not enough to make this pod feel welcoming and hygienic. Breathing in the dust, fur and mould is not healthy and could trigger allergies… Because of this, the pod did not feel clean, comfortable or relaxing and we did not feel at home during our stay. Given the price paid, we did not feel the accommodation offered value for money. I attempted to contact the owner about these issues, but our concerns were deflected rather than addressed. This review reflects our personal experience during our stay and is supported by photographs taken at the property, attached.

Very comfortable and relaxing.
Everything was as we had been informed and was excellent. Very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed supplied. Tea, coffee, milk, rolls and fresh eggs for breakfast.
Nothing.

Peaceful location convenient to Speyside Way
The owner met us with the keys and showed us the cabin. It's quite small but was great for a night and we appreciated the peaceful space and views of the castle. We were given coffee, eggs, milk, butter and bread. Unfortunately I became sick and we had to alter our plans missing out on using the farm fresh items. Bonus - we arrived by foot (walking the Speyside Way) and found a convenient bus stop just across from the property to get us to the next town.

Was an overnight stay while touring Scotland was a fun place to stay and we could park next to our hut.
Great place to stay for something a little different. Quiet area and a great view. Maximised use of the space well. The eggs were much appreciated as well thank you.

Lovely warm little pod. Very friendly and engaging host.
Alastair was very welcoming and friendly. So grateful for the unexpected fresh farm produce gifted for our breakfast. Horses and donkeys gave it a lovely farm feel.
Neat units with all the amenities.

Fabulous little place, had everything we needed! Nice to have eggs, milk and butter in fridge - thanks! Had nice drink in sun at local hotel and wonderful walk along the Nethy.
