Wonderful farm experience, so fun with all the horses and donkeys around. Famous nearby trail for a lovely evening stroll and close to a castle ruin. Breakfast included some free range eggs, milk, and butter. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Unfortunately I didn’t realise the pods where stuck right behind a house then a barn! I don’t like they were next to each other and I assumed we would be in fields or open country side, not a fenced off yard.
2.0 / 10.0
The pod itself is modern, well-equipped and had some thoughtful touches such as bread, butter, eggs and Christmas decorations. On the surface, it has good potential.
Good location.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the accommodation significantly let the experience down. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable amount of pet fur and dust throughout the pod. On the floors, in the corners, on skirting boards, heaters, furniture, the sofa, blankets, and even the bedding. The pillows and duvet had visible fur, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There was also mould present at the bottom of the entrance door. A proper deep clean, especially if pets are allowed, is urgently needed. Wiping surfaces is not enough to make this pod feel welcoming and hygienic. Breathing in the dust, fur and mould is not healthy and could trigger allergies…
Because of this, the pod did not feel clean, comfortable or relaxing and we did not feel at home during our stay. Given the price paid, we did not feel the accommodation offered value for money.
I attempted to contact the owner about these issues, but our concerns were deflected rather than addressed.

Everything was as we had been informed and was excellent. Very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed supplied. Tea, coffee, milk, rolls and fresh eggs for breakfast.
Nothing.

The owner met us with the keys and showed us the cabin. It's quite small but was great for a night and we appreciated the peaceful space and views of the castle. We were given coffee, eggs, milk, butter and bread. Unfortunately I became sick and we had to alter our plans missing out on using the farm fresh items. Bonus - we arrived by foot (walking the Speyside Way) and found a convenient bus stop just across from the property to get us to the next town.

It was more spacious than expected.
Very well situated with a lovely view of the Auld Kirk, Castle Roy, and the nightly sunset.
One of us is 6’3” and fit pretty well.

Breakfast was provided in the cabin. Great views across fields from the cabin, where the hosts' horses and donkeys were grazing.

Nothing that I didn’t like, only a suggestion for some kitchen roll and some tissues😊

First time in a glamping pod - exceeded expectations! The pod was very cosy and comfortable with a good shower room. Everything worked well and it was great for our one night stay. Alastair kindly provides some eggs, soft rolls and milk so breakfast was sorted! It was very peaceful and nice to wake up to donkeys and horses in the fields opposite.
Only downside was not many places to eat nearby. We ended up in Grantown on Spey on a Sunday evening with not many options.

Fabulous views of the historical sites of Nethy Bridge and of the owners beautiful donkeys and horses. The cabin itself has a good sized separate bedroom and bathroom with all the storage space you will need. Kitchen has all amenities. Whole place is spotless, new looking and stylishly decorated. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location for exploring cairngorms, aviemore and nethy bridge, and the beautiful views
No blinds on the glass doors, however it is a horse field outside, so not likely anyone can actually see in

Staying at Ptarmigan Nethy Bridge and Nethy Stables Glamping was an absolute delight! The cozy cabin provided a perfect retreat in the serene surroundings. We loved waking up to the gentle presence of donkeys in the morning, adding an extra touch of charm to our stay. Alistair, our host, was incredibly helpful and thoughtful, providing us with fresh bread, milk, and free-range eggs for breakfast. Despite the snug size of the bed, it only added to the cozy atmosphere, making it even more enjoyable to cuddle up together. Overall, our one-night stay was a highlight of our Scotland tour, and we can't wait to return for another peaceful getaway.
Size of the bed is rather small for two adults, and we personally prefer more stiff mattress.

We knew the location from prior visits. It's a beautiful area that does not need a car if you are willing to do long walks in the forest.
The only thing that we could have improved was a firmer bed. It's a personal thing but we use ultra-firm and the bed in our accommodation was extremely soft and springy. When one of us got in one side of the bed the other one almost bounced out of their side!

The property itself was lovely and the bed was very comfy. The horses were lovely to look at too.
The breakfast could definitely be better. 2 eggs and 4 Co-Op white rolls? A slither of butter and a small jug of milk. It was also just some small things like attention to detail. There wasn’t a mat at the front door so if it was wet, the floor got dirty very fast. The towels in the bathroom were also not great. 2 full sets of towels and a shower mat would be appreciated. Coming from having a rental property ourselves, attention to detail is so important, especially if you are calling it luxury glamping. The place itself though was really lovely and cute. Paying attention to detail would make it fabulous.

The hosts were great, the location and being able to have the dog with us, the hosts were really comfortable with him around
More cleaning equipment would have been useful, e.g. a couple of cloths. Bathroom mat would have been nice to have too
