Corrimony House is a superb house in a lovely location with views and walks from the front door. Great that it takes dogs and it is spotless, beautifully kept and decorated, huge inside with every home comfort needed.
Chris, the owner, is the most helpful, friendly, thoughtful and supportive host.
Can’t recommend this house and host enough. One of the best holiday houses we have stayed in.
Communication section not working on this review !! 5 stars.

Corrimony is just wonderful, very clean, quality furniture and bedding, fully equipped kitchen with every utensil you could ever need. Enjoyed watching the wildlife, deer, birds, and a red squirrel. Great location for exploring the area, also a good place to chill and plenty woodland walks starting from Corrimony. There was such a feeling of peacefulness, an oasis of calm, in a crazy world. Family holiday with son, daughter-in-law and twin grand daughters aged 10, we all enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

The house and location were perfect for a family holiday. The house and it’s surroundings were excellent with a beautiful woodland walk right on the door step. A variety of wildlife could be spotted in the garden and woods out the back. The house itself had all the amenities necessary and some extras for added comfort.
It was a great base camp, home from home, in a suitable location to explore the area.
Communication with the host was excellent and very helpful.
All in all a beautiful house, in a beautiful location making our stay very enjoyable.

Our dream second home
The house was perfectly equipped for even big families, the house was always warm, very well heated. The rooms are spacious and lovely quiet neighbourhood with lovely forest right next to us and close to the national park. We were very lucky in the weather (middle of february), we experienced snow on our doorstep, sunny days ans a little bit of rain. Great place to recharge our batteries.

We loved our week at Corrimony house, the property is very clean and modern. The kitchen is very well equipped and we loved the spacious feel of all the rooms. On arriving at the property we found it to be very clean and obvious signs that bleach had been used in the kitchen. There was ample space for 5 adults and one 12 year old. Bedrooms upstairs were extremely spacious. The property was decorated to a high standard with comfy beds. Nice area to sit outside with two tables and benches ( the house is not fenced from neighbouring properties and the quiet country road infront of the property, this was not a problem to us as our three dogs are well behaved). There is the added bonus of a footpath right next to the property which takes you straight into a wooded forest.
We would totally recommend this property, thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Arrived with my wife and 3 boys. Ages 7, 4 and 1. We all loved the house. Ideal for children, plenty of space for them. The 1 year old had great fun wandering around, very safe house for small kids.
The area around the house was brilliant. Loads to do. Highly recommended.

Spacious, yet cosy, & spotless, with enough facilities to accommodate our family. Very homely. The location is within easy reach of a number activities. Just outside the door there are numerous woodland walks. Set in a quiet location with lovely views. Chris, the owner, was welcoming & couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We're already considering booking for the same time next year and are happy to recommend the property to friends and family !

Great house. Great location
Great house. Great location
This is a very clean and comfortable property. It easily accommodated our party of four adults and two teenagers.
There is so much to do in this area.
We managed to catch a camanachd game at Kingussie on the way up. Great introduction to Highland culture.
The Grantown on Spey Farmer's market was on the Sunday after we arrived. It's a friendly, compact market. Get there early as all the vegan pies went very quickly! Some great produce.
The woods behind the house are very easily accessed, and are safe for all ages - although care is obviously needed for large roots etc. The woods are perfect for nature trails in daylight hours with smaller children (if you're quiet enough you'll be rewarded by sights of red deer and some birds of prey), and even more so for after-dark head torch trails (although this is easier in the winter months!).
Good activities - Craggan Outdoors is perfect, and just on the doorstep really. We only did two activities (high ropes and archery) but this gave us a full day's activities. The staff are brilliant - so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They were even happy for us to bring along our own sandwiches for lunch (as long as we also bought tea/coffee etc from them - perfectly reasonable request). We wish we had looked closer at them before coming as we hadn't packed any wet activity gear for gorge walks for instance.
Also consider a trip to the Macallan distillery - it's a great tour and easily combined with a visit to the Spey Cooperage (recommended).
Loads of great walks for all abilities in the local area - it is the Cairngorms, after all. So much to do, I think we only really scratched the surface, and would absolutely come back to this property.

The property was clean, tidy and contained everything we needed. There are fields & woodland beyond the back garden and the road is quiet. We were within a relatively short drive of all the places we wanted to visit.

Fantastic week. The house was wonderful, very clean with all amenities. We walked the woods behind the cottage and cycled the forrest around Grantown on Spey. Deer in the garden on first morning. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped house
Wonderful house with great views towards the mountains. Spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us staying and very quiet. Lots of windows and French doors to open to allow the cool air to circulate in the warm weather we had. Spotlessly clean and on the whole, very well equipped. Plenty of parking - we had 3 cars. Nice lawned garden back and front and my grandchildren loved tray sledging down the short grassy slope at the back. Very well placed for visiting the whole area. Good grocery/food shops close by in Grantown-on-Spey and slightly further away in Aviemore. The Landmark Centre is only a few miles away too and was loved by my 2 under ten years old grandchildren. This was an extended family visit and we voted this house the best we have stayed in together over the past 8 years and would certainly hope to return in 2 years time.

If you're planning to be in Grantown on Spey, Aviemore, or Dulnain Bridge, this is a great place to stay. It is out of the way for Inverness but, smack in the middle of the Cairngorm National Park, is a great home base to explore the historical highlands. Set between Aviemore and Grantown on Spey, Dulnain Bridge is tiny and quaint. The house boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 down and 2 up. The 2 downstairs are both configured as King beds, the two upstairs are larger, with views of the countryside and mountains, and both boast twin beds.
You will need a car in this location, though there is bus service. We walked along Skye of Curr road and noticed that the Speyside Garden centre is there with a small park for our young son, he enjoyed it, but it's not much for anyone over 5. In the other direction, you dead end onto A938 and there's not much other than a bus stop, a post office, and a garage.
The owner is very nice and the house was meticulously clean, if sparsely furnished. They were generous with provision of blankets and pillows which we needed, being from Arizona the whistling winds the first few nights of our stay made it quite drafty. The house's few furnishings are good quality and it's convenient for a family, but it is not decked out. There are no linens (extra sheets) or towels whatsoever included in the rental. You can pay to let towels from the laundress for 3 pounds per week per set, which I thought was ... we packed our towels. The house had not a stitch of provisions in the kitchen. No salt, pepper, sugar, tea, or coffee. There weren't even basic condiments in the fridge: ketchup/mayo/mustard. It was about an additional 10 pounds to get all the basics, but fortunately the COOP in grantown on spey is open until 10.
There are two baths, one up and one down. The twin beds are upstairs but the upstairs bath has only a shower. Odd for traveling with kids The main bath downstairs has a tub and it is HUGE.
The radiators worked well and the house was warm except the front upstairs bedroom, fortunately we did not need to use it as our party was small. It was a fantastic home base. We explored the Highlands but always had a comfortable place to come back. The appliances are in great condition and fairly new, the dishwasher and washing machine are quiet --good as the kitchen is next to the master bedroom. Overall it was an amazing stay and I hope to visit the Highlands again. If we are in the area, we'd stay with Chris again unquestionably.

This is the second time we have stayed at Corrimony in wintertime, it is so cosy and warm, and every facility provided for, to make it a very enjoyable stay.Brilliant base for getting out and about, many walks to choose from within the Cairngorm area, speyside way walk is fantastic. It is also only about 30minute drive to the coast and around 40minutes to drive to Inverness. Grantown on Spey is a wonderful highland town. We look forward to visiting again.

We have stayed at many various cottages but this was by far the best in the comfort/luxury spacious accommodation with the added bonus of having magnificent views over to the Cairngorms/Cromdale Mountains but with a lovely huge pine forest behind for the dogs to enjoy too! A good central location within easy reach of all the lovely forest walks/trails and lochs and nearby villages etc. Would certainly recommend it and enjoyed the good heating!

We stayed at the property for a week in June 2017,we found the cottage was fantastic, very clean, all the amenities you could wish for.The cottage is situated in a very nice quiet area,an unexpected bonus was that we were saw two red deer in the grass field behind the cottage, most mornings and evenings.I would certainly recommend staying in this cottage,4 very spacious double rooms, large living/dining room, large kitchen. Excellent choice.

We stayed at corrimony in early Feb 2017, it was a memorable stay for many reasons.
On arrival the house itself is a gem, the spacious bedrooms, lovely lounge,a well equipped kitchen,it really did feel like we had not left home.
Warm and comfortable ,we had some lovely cosy nights in after exploring Speyside.
Your never to far from many of the the local attractions , 30 mins from Inverness, 10 mins from avimore it couldn't be better.
If you love walking, its the jackpot with a lovely walk starting only 20 feet from the entrance to the house !! It goes through the local forest and along the dulnian river.
We had a great time, and will certainly be back again.
