Nice spacious 2 bedroom cabin in quiet village. Clean and well stocked. Lots of activities nearby.
Quiet location. Plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and nice living area with fireplace. Lovely little village and lots to do in local area. Well stocked kitchen.
Need to bring your own towels as none provided. Be aware this is a private owner and not connected to the holiday park where it is located. When we arrived, we had no hot water or heating. Followed the instructions in information booklet but nothing worked. I tried to get help at Park reception but no one there to help even though we had to check in on their website. Found out later they would not help. Managed to contact owner who was very apologetic (she was in London) and could only help with instructions on how to access the boiler and adjust settings. Not an easy job but my brother finally got it working - something I would not have been able to do. We should not have had to do this. Facilities should have been checked by cleaner before we arrived. Wi-Fi was also a problem but finally got that working with the owner's help.

Warm, comfortable & nicely situated
Great location, woodland across the road & easy access to explore further. Accommodation was well equipped (except a coffee pot!), to be warm & comfortable when "at home".
We only had one full day as check in is from 3pm & check out by 10am. Would be nice where possible to offer an earlier check in, or later check out.
Couldn't locate the recycling or rubbish facilities so took it away. Nowhere to hang wet coats or put leafy shoes inside the door.

Before you book your stay make sure there is gas, unfortunately we ran out of gas and had no hot water, we couldn't wash which was a big problem. The heaters didn't work, the gas cooker didn't work so we couldn't make breakfast or dinner, the stove didn't work either because it was gas-powered. The owners said I wasn't entitled to a refund for my stay, I could leave the place of rest. Embarrassing approach to guests... I paid and didn't get any help or even an answer what to do next

Could have easily have stayed for a week and do day trips, it would be worth the drive.

Delightful and scenic stay in a cozy chalet
Quiet and scenic, lovely area. Hiking trails right near by and very helpful instructions about the area. Great accomodations especially for cooking. Thank you!
The air freshners were a little too strong for our liking, but once we opened the windows to let fresh air in that helped a bit. Otherwise we loved, loved your place.

The chalet was spotless with attractive furnishings. Lots of basic items were provided like toilet rolls, hairdryer, washing up liquid, salt, pepper etc. This was a nice surprise! The chalet is in a lovely, quiet holiday park in a great location. We cycled easily along to Aviemore through the beautiful local forests. Landmark Adventure Park is only a few minutes drive away.

Cosy and comfortable stay
Brilliant stay with my Mum, Mum in law, Gran and my 2 year old. We had a great couple of days. The chalet was perfect, clean, comfortable and cosy and the shower was the best! We had dinner at the Boat Hotel just a short walk/drive from the park and would definitely recommend. Will definitely love to stay again.

It was perfect for a family with one child, fully equipped with everything for travel, very clean, spacious and pleasant. Great location just a short drive from Aviemore and other places of interest in the Cairngorms.

Excellent Accommodation
The accommodation was spotless and very much a home from home with everything that you would need for a trip away. It was situated perfectly for our needs - close to Boat of Garten golf and tennis club - where family members were playing in a golf competition.
Correspondence with the owners was fantastic, providing information in a timely manner for our visit.
I would definitely recommend to friends, and would look to stay again if back in the area.

Pleasant Stay in Boat of Garten
Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable on a nice quiet site.
Good location with plenty of walks on your doorstep
A 5min walk to village centre, village shop and the Boat Inn and Restaurant, Anderson's restaurant worth a visit too.
Welcome basket with tea, coffee and mini chocolate bars, but plenty more items in cupboards for you to use.
Could do with their own Wi-Fi router in the caravan - as the charagable on-site Wi-Fi was very weak and only worked in living room next to window.
To much clutter in bathroom cupboard - do you really need 20+ hotel mini toiletries - a basket with a few would have been better and given us more space for our toiletries.
Blinds in the bathroom need replacing.
Bigger TV for size of the room.
No towels provided.

Disappointing accommodation quality and service.
It was quiet around the chalet
I sent the following message to the property owner 2 weeks ago but haven’t had a reply: 24 hours before our arrival you contacted us stating that, due to Covid-19 restrictions, you now don’t provide towels, only linen. Immediately before arriving at the chalet we had stayed for a week at a self-catering property in Scotland that did provide towels. You will have your own reasons for now not providing towels, but citing Covid-19 restrictions does not seem plausible. More importantly, you should of course honour whatever you advertise as being provided at the time of booking. At the time of our booking and even now on Booking.com it is stated that towels are provided, under the property description and ‘Bathroom’ facilities. When we contacted you to explain we were already on holiday without towels and had specifically booked accommodation with these provided, you offered to have towels laundered at an additional cost of £20, or suggested we go to supermarket to purchase towels at £6 each. Neither of these solutions was even close to being satisfactory, to resolve a problem that was not of our making. You also said that you would get this information updated on Booking.com for future bookings, but I can see that it hasn’t been. This whole aspect of our booking and experience represents very poor customer service.
The chalet is well presented on the surface, but it is apparent, for example from odours and dust on the blinds, that there hasn’t been a deep clean for quite some time. It must be difficult to manage condensation in that environment, but the use of moisture traps throughout the chalet was not comforting. We encountered two cockroaches in the chalet – one in the ironing board cupboard when l got the broom out and another under the duvet on a single bed that our four-year-old was sleeping in.
The double bed mattress is of poor quality/condition and not of a standard that befits the nightly rate.

The chalet was cleaned fo a high standard on arrival.
It had everything we needed with 2 young children. Lots of extras, bored games, kitchen essentials you may have forgotten to pack.
We will definitely be back. The chalet is in a great location, on a very quiet clean caravan park. Close to lots of local tourist attractions.

Great location, quiet and well maintained holiday park. The chalet was really clean and cozy, perfect for a family holiday. The addition of some toys and games was really nice.
