Lovely quiet and went home feeling really rested and enjoying the company of the locals.

A quiet and comfortable place to stay.

This place was very clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The kitchen was particularly well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the shower was effective. It is in a quiet area in the countryside but just a short drive to the pub or into Wimborne. The host was helpful and communicated well.

It wasn’t within walking distance of the pub.

Peaceful, relaxing and a welcome break from the daily grind.

The property was clean, well appointed, comfortable, had its own parking and rear paved garden. Rural location within easy reach of Wimborne Minster (the nearest town) & local supermarkets.

This building has been modernized but has everything you could ever need. It's near to Wimborne for shopping but 6mins out of the way at Witchampton, lovely and peaceful.

Amazing location great property.

Amazing location so much to see and do within 30min drive. The property itself is really well laid out.

The bed is a small double. Salt pepper and sugar pots but no salt pepper or sugar.

Lovely Accommodation and host.

Lovely old building done up to hotel standard. Very comfortable double bed with an en-suite and separate WC. Nice to be able to watch Netflix too. Rather cold at times but we just turned up the heating a bit. Not great to be woken before 7am by the fire alarm going off and then carrying on for intermittent blasts for the next hour or so. Lovely host though who was apologetic and sorted the issue, which for us, wasn’t repeated thankfully. Would’ve been nice to know that there was no milk or sugar here. There was tea and coffee though. After a long journey from the Isle of Man we had to go back out and find some basic supplies. Previous lodges we’ve stayed at have said what’s included when you arrive so you know what to bring with you. Overall it’s a lovely place to be and we would stay again despite the few issues. The fire alarm issue, we guess, is a one off.
