Ferndown Holiday Let

The location was perfect for the purpose for which we travelled.

There was nothing we didn’t like.This is very minor: a tea strainer and a short kitchen knife would have been useful though!

Very nice stay for two nights in Ferndown. Everything was clean and neatly arranged。There’s place for food and shopping nearby。

Would be better if there’s a hair dryer and some shampoo and shower gel。

mould in bathroom….not very clean extractor wasn’t working in the bathroom Had incident with flood caused by jacuzzi being emptied by the cleaners from the other apartment!

Lovely clean property, easy to find and well equipped.

No hot water for the whole week, messaged and called the host and was not resolved, cold showers for a week when it was -1 outside was not fun.

it was modern and well equipped and perfect for a couple or even 2! fantastic location and would recommend

cars getting blocked in by users of the other property on site

Very good location close to the coast and towns and there are shops nearby if you need anything

On a busy main road which had road works that made it easier to get out of the property, but that's all really

The annex was comfortable and very clean

The listing states chalet it's not....its a annex in someone's garden We were advised the day before when we called to pay deposit that he has builders working on the house. Building materials all around - dangerous! Listing states, garden, patio, bbq - none of these Narrow long gravel drive- no turnaround so drive in and reverse all the way out 1st night- blocked in by 3 vans (builders) We didn't have any hot water on the first night and couldn't shower due to the water being scorching hot, we tried everything, as it was late we decided to deal with it the following morning Following morning, still the same, I left the shower running and it went from scorching to freezing cold - unable to use - I contacted the owner - he advised of a dial in the kitchen that the previous guests must have altered, maybe for future it would be better to get the cleaner to check this so no one else has this issue? Or maybe add it to the welcome folder The place hadn't been dusted in months, there was dust build up on the ceilings, cooker hood, sideboards, bed side tables one wall was filthy in the living area (see photo) the place was modern but could tell it was tired and needing a freshen up The builders were staying at the house and were quite loud on a couple of occasions playing music and football in the garden in the evenings. The inside around the settee area smelt strongly of cigarette smoke There was no tea towel provided for the kitchen, there was hand wash and toilet roll which was great and washing up bowl etc for the kitchen.

It was convient for the location we were visiting, everything was clean, Internet excellent with safe parking area.

Only minor issue really, no tea towels but easily fixable.

Great location for coast, New Forest and museums. Also lots of local supermarkets and shops close by if self-catering. Very quiet as set back from road. Lovely and warm with the underfloor heating (had to turn it down). Clean and well equipped, everything working fine.

Would have liked bigger chopping board and colander. Had to clean some pans before using. Beds were fine, but only had one thin pillow.

The property was very well located for attractions and things to do. The property was modern and well equipped . The property looked exactly as it did in the pictures

The property was dusty and dirty upon arrival . The pots , pans, glasses and cutlery were also dirty . There were cobwebs in every room and the floor had not been cleaned . We cleaned around ourselves rather than bother the owner , and we then had a comfortable stay . The cleanliness was such a shame for such a lovely let, and had it not been for this we would definitely book to stay again

Great amount of parking for the annexe and we had pretty much everything we needed. Clean and a good layout!

Only small things- a hand towel for the bathroom would have been helpful and the mattresses were very firm which was a blessing for my bad back but the other two members of our group didn't have quite such a comfortable stay. We also found the folder seemed more aimed at the main house rather than the annexe and some check out instructions would be good (what to do with bedding and towels etc)

Had to go out and buy a cork screw.

We spent our first night away for a long time here. It was clean and welcoming. It was exactly as described and the host was fantastic. Helpful and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend

Probably only thing that we didn’t like was the parking.

Lovely accommodation and good location to explore Bournemouth. Local pubs within a mile walk and supermarket close by to. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you😊
