The Log Cabin

Perfect for my visit, clean & safe place to stay as a lone female guest. Comfy bed and cabin temperature was perfect - especially considering the heat wave! A lovely peaceful garden space in the evenings. Anita was super helpful and friendly - going out of her way to check in with me.

Although small, it was adequate, well equipped and clean. The outside seating areas were well maintained and comfortable. Anita was friendly and helpful. She insisted on making us a pot of tea to enjoy outside when we returned from our days out. She was helpful in providing insight and information about the surrounding areas and places to visit. Nothing seemed like it would be too much trouble, including dropping us into town if we didn’t want to drive, as the walk was a little bit too far for my husband. It was a pleasure to meet her and her family, and our stay was very enjoyable.

There was nothing not to like.

Very convenient accommodation for Wimborne and the surrounding area, with parking directly outside. It’s only 10-15 minutes walk from the town. Anita was a super host, and communication was clear and easy to follow. The place was spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast more than covered me. There is a dining table in the centre of the room which was very useful for me to have somewhere to work whilst I was down. Hot shower and generally good amenities all round. I’ll stay again.

the breakfast was adequate and the location worked with good access to where we wanted to visit.
