Honeyland hotel

What an incredible place! We had the most wonderful experience here, and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.The resort is nestled beautifully right in the middle of the jungle, offering a perfect, peaceful escape. The rooms are really spacious, and extra clean, we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. The highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing owner. They make you feel so welcome and genuinely care about your experience, taking the time to share great conversations and time with you. It feels more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel.We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back for a much longer stay next time!

Endroit très dépaysant et calme dans un havre de paix. Les hôtes très attentionnés et le service irréprochable. Tout le personnel était à notre écoute. Lieu idéal pour faire un break au cours du périple.

Wauw het is hier alsof je in een Hilton of Sheraton Hotel verblijft. Kom allemaal naar hier en verblijf hier al je tijd want de eigenaar regelt alles voor je, is eveneens taxi voor, allemaal spotgoedkoop. Ontbijt lunch en diner steeds veel te veel lekkers. Ik denk dat ik nu ben bijgekomen in gewicht.

Waar haal je deze zin? Alles overtrof mij niks viel tegen!

When we arrived our host met us with a refreshing fruit juice then showed us to our room. It exceeded our expectations. The entire property did! What a lovely location, a bit out of the way, but surrounded by nature with pathways throughout the property, lots of bird life, super spacious and comfortable rooms. They offered an exceptional breakfast which was included with our room and an amazing dinner for a great price. The village is nearby for exploring, it was truly THE Sri Lankan experience we were looking for. Down to earth, surrounded by nature and mountains, immersed in a friendly community, and the only sounds were of nature itself! Heaven on earth!

There wasn't a thing we didn't like about this stay. Like we said, it was a bit out of the way, but that's where the real experiences are. Our host has even offered to arrange transportation for exploring nearby sites such as Nalanda Gedigre (centre of Sri Lanka).
