A gorgeous room in the city centre, elegant and sparkling clean, with all the facilities and a gentle touch which made us feel at home. Absolutely wonderful place to stay only open for 2 months but they thought of everything.
The breakfast was much bigger than I expected. She had everything that we could want plus more. There was a nice terrace to eat our breakfast on and it was a very enjoyable stay. They have been open only 2 months but they thought of everything. I don't speak Italian and she didn't speak English but she used her phone to translate everything and it was an easy solution. Very friendly and simple during check-in and check out. We were in Europe for 44 days and they had the biggest shower of our trip. Room was very big and had a couch to use for alternative seating which was welcomed. We were extremely happy with our room and breakfast and everything connected to our stay at Casa di Bruna. On our next visit we will definitely stay there, very pleasant staff, just a real nice place to stay.
There was absolutely nothing about the place that was bad. If you put a gun to my head and forced me to come up with something then it might be that we couldn't open the shutters to get a view of the main street or get natural light because there were screens on the windows. I would rather have screens than bugs so that was the only thing.

A fantastic hotel to visit Gorizia
Very nice and helpful staff. The receptionist and the owner put all their heart and soul into welcoming us and making us feel home in Gorizia. The room was fantastic: newly designed and very comfortable.

A casa de Bruna is great for its location, comfort, elegance and the care taken by our host.
My husband and I were delighted with A casa di Bruna. First we were glad that there was a lift on the same level as the entrance, so we did not have to carry our bags up any steps. Then, we had a charming greeting from our host, Imma, who was so helpful in helping us find our way around. She directed us to Ai Tre Soldi for dinner, only a block or two up the street, and it was so delicious we went back the next night to try more dishes on the menu. The rooms were spotless and our bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The rooms were also cool despite the 34 degree day and so elegantly decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony among the plants and flowers. Breakfast was yummy and fresh with a coffee made specially to our taste. We happened to be there on market day which was easily within walking distance. It was the best respite from Rome and Florence that were so hot and crowded.
It would have been good to stay longer!
