Le Nid du Favre II - Large 2 room with breathtaking view of the lake

Stayed here for the week of the Annecy film festival and the location is perfect for that! A block from Bonlieu and a 5-10 min walk to the bus station and easy to get to the charming old town restaurants and shops and the lake. Apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival with things like a hair dryer, iron (tho, no ironing board?), dishwasher, and fans. Checkout instructions were clear and easy. Key pickup is just around the corner from the apartment and is easy!

Unfortunately there was a massive heat wave when I stayed, and the apartment is not air conditioned (not unexpected, just unfortunately the circumstances of the time I stayed). There were three fans, but because of the 8th floor location and inability to keep windows open in the night (no screens), the apartment never got cool. It was easy enough to pick up the keys, but the person at the pickup desk neglected to share the specific apartment number (it was different from the number on the keys), and the code to get into the apartment upon picking up the keys. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get a response about how to get into the apartment building and the room #. The shower didn't drain quickly enough, so short showers were needed to prevent flooding in the bathroom. Also, limited bath products/soap were provided (would suggest bringing your own). The wifi upon arrival was very slow (basically unusable), but restarted the router and it seemed to help.

The location was amazing and it was on the top floor so incredible views! The size was lovely and it felt very comfortable. An incredible bakery is just across the street!

As mentioned in past reviews, it could have been a little cleaner and if you look closely, you could see that some corners and areas were a bit run down in spots but it didn’t bother us very much

Excelente localização, apto totalmente reformado, mobília moderna e bem equipado. Facilidade para pegar e entregar as chaves.

Só faltou um saca rolhas. Comprei um vinho e jamais imaginei que não teria um saca rolhas num apto na França :o)

This flat is style over substance.

There was hair in the shower, no coffee pods for the coffee machine, the sofa is in a desperate need of a deep clean, and a small amount of toilet paper left. We booked for the sofa bed, on arrival the sofa bed was not made and no linen was left for us. We visited the concierge who treated us like a hindrance for needing bedding for the sofa bed. The breathtaking view of the lake is definitely down to interpretation - you can not see that much, and the balcony needs a clean. It felt like this place was interested in taking your money and that was it. On our roadtrip, we’ve stayed in various places, and this was hands down the worst. If you are looking to stay in Annecy, look for somewhere which is run by individuals and not a large company with rude members of staff.
